I very very strongly advise all NOT to sell CLI or CICT on Monday
By holding uou will get far better profit returns eventually.

1) Friday 17th we get everything. Cash + CICT + CLI
2) CICT can start selling on Friday 17th (odd lots on odd lots market or normal market)
3) CLI only can sell on Monday 20th as it will only start trading on Monday

Evergrande' s teeter may clear path for Singapore players in China
Singapore developers should be positioned for opportunistic bargains, amid a change in landscape in China that is turning conservative on debt

There' s an American saying
if things are cheap and good, it' s too good to be true
if things are expensive and bad, it' s true they are not good
for CICT, at the moment it' s really too good to be true

There is an ancient Chinese proverb:
Cheap things are usually not good. Good things are never cheap.

Yes.   The verdict is loud and clear.   The institutions were buying up and the retail investors selling off CAPLAND last week.
What really puzzles me is that the retail investors were buying up CICT and institutions selling off last week because the market potential of CLI should worth much more than CICT.
If the institutions were right, then the retail investors would likely double their mistakes from 20 Sep. onwards.
If the retail investors were right, then those strategic institutions with deep pockets would simply just keep their holdings to stave off a major downward selling of CLI on 20 Sep.
Based on fundamentals, the institutions should have a probability of 75% to be correct.

We don't know what's going happen, so just week next Monday ,
Good luck for ppl vested CLI
The negative overtone of Wall Street seems to be driving global market down.   The Covid-19 situation and the political divide in the US coupled with Xi' s premeditated crackdown on Chinese companies would also not inject any positive sentiments to the global stock market in the near term.
A sensible approach is to focus on the longer term prospects of CLI than its perceived short term gains.   Otherwise the probable short term negative disappointment of CLI may lead the investors into exercising more wrong decisions.   After all, 2 wrongs will not make a right.

$2.80 is less than 1x NTA... not likely. Most reits already more than 1x NTA , better reputable reits even range from 1.2x to 2.2x, keppel, mapletree etc..
$2.90 perhaps.. If market sentiment on 20 Sept is good then $3 perhaps.

The writings already on the wall.  Capitaland Investment will be at around $2.80 on 20th September.
Further variations to stock price, on opening, will largely depend on market forces.

In reality, nobody knows for sure the exact value of CLI on 20 Sep.   Can anyone on earth predict the future?   The answer is the same, no.
What is certain?   CLI is a strategic investment perhaps up to 3 years of holding.   Hence it is not desirable for investors with the need to secure short term profit gains.

Hi Friends,
Do anyone have a clue of what would the price of the new CLI share..  What is the price based on.  I have a heavy holding on Capitaland, my only bet is the CLI price, and hopefully CLI gets full valuation for margin trading, so that I can hold on to it long term.  Thanks for your replies in advance.
