Before piling into Genting on the RWS2.0 hype, caveat emptor - the lack of earnings clarity means the thrill may end in a hard landing.
I dun understand. So many of you say until Genting Singapore like dragon, Genting
is a strong counter, genting is low  risk counter etc... Then why is the share price
at historical low?  even lower than 2020 Covid period  and keep dropping and dropping?
Share price does not lie right?

Not guranteed but you just look at the risk factor. The operating cash flow can support the dividend payout in the current business operation. And during the bad time like covid period, it is still able to pay the same dividend, so to me, it is low risk and it is better than the REIT.

Dear Mr sgng
SGS bond yield range between 1.5 to 2% depending on the maturity, how can it be 6%?

Expect share price to move sideways with limited upside due to soft Q1 results.
Forward earnings need to improve for price to go up

Not unlimited fund loh, they only pay borrowing cost.
New short cover old short, profit from difference whike maintaining
short volume.
But could lost a lot within short amt of time or bankrupt

They hedge based on current provisonal casino licence.
Once normal licence renewed and casino players come bck then they buy back to fair value.
The bigger the short the bigger the rebound.
Better not to mess with such pro shortist with unlimited fund to short.

Good point on the circle line completion to improve accessibility and reduce the parking charges to drive more footfall

Casino wise no different but if u compare overall environment and dollarwise,
RWS demolish MBS. MBS benefit from better connectivity 2 mrt serving whereas RWS only 1 line.
but when circleline completed in jul it would be served by 2 lines.

| Was just at MBS today and RWS last week. Dont think MBS looks dated but it was quieter than expected, maybe its not the weekend nor peak summer holidays for tourists yet. Both destinations are good and makes for a vibrant Singapore with different offering altogether. Excluding casinos, RWS is a place to easily spend the day with family and kids. You can do so at MBS only if you have plenty to spend!     |

A lot of things to prop up stock price cannot be used, once licence got it u see genS spending to get back market share.
Don believe go visit sentosa in person, u see everything new and shiny, MBS looked dated .

But it hurt stock price for almost 2 years.
genS is on provisional licence not the original one as it being hold off till gov satisfy with genS.
As long gov satisfy with genS performance, can anytime renewal licence within this year.
For me MBS just looked dated compare to RWS where everything newly renovated.
Circleline completion in jul, make sentosa more accesible from cdb.
