MARKET analysts in Malaysia have started to shift their focus to value and cyclical stocks, which they believe can leverage on the country?s recovery heading into the second half of 2022.

Vincent Khoo, the head of research at UOB Kay Hian Malaysia, said that stocks under their coverage posted a slightly positive trend quarter-on-quarter, with 14 per cent reporting disappointing earnings and 24 per cent surpassing expectations.

?Sector-wise, the disappointments were mostly related to construction, glove, oil and gas, and property,? he said in a market strategy report released on Thursday (June 2).

 

SGX announced change of Board Members. Likely new investor will come in, as Hong Kong listing is cancelled new investor likely come from China. Hope Malaysian will not stopping that as in the case of unsucessful residential property, and port development.
