🙂
Actually i don't mind those big shorters short this counter to 30c. Been buying periodically over the whole year just as a dividend play.

Looks like strong possibility of breaking 40 within the next 2 days or so, if trend continues.
Currently most transactions done at 37.5, with lots of buy up, though heavy road block at 37.5 allows some nibbling at 36.5/37.
Hopes of dual listing getting better, so it seems, as the days cont.
But still have to be wary of those pumping to sell.
But whatever, there is div of 0.5c waiting to be paid in early May ( last yr was on 3 may).

Hi lailai, if listed in Hong Kong, mainland investor can directly invest via shanghai exchange, or can only invest via Hong Kong exchange? Abit confuse with the China's system.

You may be right, and I may not be wrong.
Just opinion nia. My feel is that it could be a LT collector' s item, with it' s cont 5 yearly good perf, and a div yld that is currently probably better than the best bank can give.
Added the Dual, it is definitely a motivating factor to collect. Just opinion to share with those interested.

China and HK markets were in madness today.  Indexes and individual stocks cheong up, then cheong down then cheong up and again cheong down. To close all in a sea of Red.........................

you do realise that in HK, the daily flux is much higher.. Not sure about shorting or not..

Imo, great value to dual, as shortie RH to LH from local exch would not be able suppress price in HK exch.
With a annual yield of 3%, and a bizness perf that is plus for the last five yrs, and giving div for the last 4, it shd be worth much higher.
Nav 52cps, cih 11.1cps, definitely a LT collector' s item. When dual activated, shd surge to nav pricing or at least dbs tp, imho.

there are no additional value to dual listing.. look at the companies that have succeeded, unless they are raising more money then its a different story.

Wow, that' s great news!
When dual listed, it will be harder for LH to RH shorties to play punk here.
If they short here, you buy here and transfer the shares to HK to sell, usually at great premium, esp with it' s many major water treatment projects receiving govt subsidies and whatnots.
But investors got to be patient lah, cos it will tak time for fruition, though BT has put it in a very nice way, ext:
"   MAINBOARD-listed China Everbright Water moved one step closer to a dual listing in Hong Kong.
On Tuesday, the firm submitted  draft application proofs with the  Stock Exchange of Hong Kong ahead of a planned listing on its main board.
The expected timetable and other details on the offering will only be disclosed after the final prospectus is registered."

China Everbright Water files proofs for HK dual listing
WED, FEB 27, 2019 - 12:43 PM
MAINBOARD-listed China Everbright Water moved one step closer to a dual listing in Hong Kong.
On Tuesday, the firm submitted  draft application proofs with the  Stock Exchange of Hong Kong ahead of a planned listing on its main board.
The expected timetable and other details on the offering will only be disclosed after the final prospectus is registered.
China Everbright Water,  which builds and manages water treatment plants, was listed in Singapore in 2014 through the acquisition of HanKore via a reverse takeover.
China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities and China Everbright Capital are the joint sponsors for the Hong Kong listing.

Maybe kena cursed by LH to RH shorties to lure weak holders to cut loss and sell to them.
But if u are ok with long term holding at current 34c, div yield is almost 3% per year, which is better than the best FD that banks can give.
After dual app has lapsed, few seem interested for the 3% div yld, which can be attractive to LT holders, imo, as compared to the falling price of many unit trusts and the like.

Break out finally?
market rewards prudent growth these days.. any company that keeps issuing bonds are not too good to be associated with, unless they have super track records like capitaland etc..

The results is consistent bright for many quarter but the share price does not reflect bright. Do not know why
