Looking at Eitka, if it follows the footsteps of Jaya, after special dividend payout (if it happens), the share price would be higher after XD after adjusting for the dividend amount, if you buy NOW.

Should have a special dividend. Many of Sam Goi's invested companies routinely give out generous dividends, obviously, due to the influence of Ah Sam.

The Board of Directors of Etika announced that it has on 30 June 2014 successfully completed the sale of the dairies and packaging business and the relevant intellectual ppty of the Group to AGHSEA. It appears that it could give out a special dividend soon. God bless.
If I am not wrong, just some minor increase in stakes by substantial shareholders reported today. Check out sgx for the info. Hope it moves soon too! *vested*

Since Sam Goei bought in around 20 cents, I expect the special dividend payout to be at least 20 cents. This way, Sam Goei can hold on to the shares forever, since they are effectively free, and there is no downside risk.
I expect a massive dividend payout after selling the Dairy Division. Etika is now moving into an asset light model, not going to own much overhead cost like the manufacturing plants. And I expect Etika Malaysia' s Texa' s Chicken business to be full bloom in 1 to 2 years time. It is going to be the Macdonald and Starbucks of Malaysia. Dont miss this GEM.
Hit can hit. But why run? Etika is going to book RM 629 million dollar profit from the sale of its dairy business to Japan. After paying down some debt, I expect cash per share is almost as high as the current share price. Expect a special dividend. Dont miss.
