May be due to Perisai bond issue.

Still negative price actions noted after the NYK deal.....yes its share price is being pressed lower with thin trading volume ever since its IPO till now. Very very fishy deal

Emas has been trading fishyly since IPO.

Price kept pressing down with low liquidity but high NAV.

I have no idea if this is super undervalued gems or another gone case counter.

See the sales of the FPSO, easily cash out nice amount for Emas to sustain the down turn.

If based on your statement below, the JV major valuation on EMAS then i believe this is highly undervalue stock among the OG.

Ezra has been using EMAS brand for marketing recently and cashing out some major asset to support the mother.

Chiyoda and NKY cant be fooled easily by Lionel Lee as both is much higher level than Ezra in terms of market cap, profitability and branding.

The downside of Emas is no dividend since IPO and i cant see it happening until Oil back to $80 - $100 zone.

This is a serious issue....over paying for a 25% stake ( over 8000% ). There cannot be a case a simple over-sight by someone or that NKY discovers a under-value gem in Emas if that is the case then this morning we should see a mad rush for Emas but nothing happen to it. Very fishy, yes??

The JV between Ezra, Chiyoda and NKY include EMAS?

I initially thought the JV only involve Ezra with Chiyoda and NKY.

Looking at the share price and volume of this stock now.....so far nothing done with the buy/sell Q far apart and no support. Look like NKY is cooked by their own management, they should seriously look into that for over paying for their stake in EMAS.

Correction - the stake was sold at $1.06 so at half the price, that would be 53c. Even happy to see just over 20c

Just hope there are value for this Emas so hope to see half the amount NKY paid for their stake which is 70c by the end of this year.

Why so leh? Was thinking with the recent deal with NKY that should be a good thing esp with the premium price that was being paid for the 25% stak

I agree with you in this point. I also think that the big company may see some potential growth of EMAS, otherwise, why have they paid EZRA for such higher price to buy the shares. Are the two big companies foolish?

lglg666      ( Date: 30-Sep-2016 10:16) Posted:

If look from another angle.....why NKY over paid for such stake? Knowing the Japanese, they don't suffer fool easily and kindly esp such a big company. They must see some value in Emas to take a 25% stake at premium price, too. Still whoever lead the deal must be respected for his ability to pull it off

honestly, such deals to me are misleading to retail (aunt/uncle) investors.. SGX should investigate and ask them to clarify, will you go to a store and pay $1.00 or $0.05 for the same type of products? Unless when you are paying $1.00, you are getting in addition, something else worth a lot more (which is of course, not disclosed to ordinary investors)... The details of the " real" deal are not known to anyone except for the JV partners.

Both JV partners are not retail investors and are of much bigger size than EMAS/EZRA.. Why will they be at the losing end of a bargain when EZRA is the one facing financial difficulties.. Something to consider before actually clicking on the buy button... Luckily, few forummers use SJ as a place to find " under valued" gems....
