Average annual prices of Sembcorp from 2020 to 2025 are $1.71, $1.91, $2.84, $4.69, $5.16 and $6.31 respectively. This means the company must be doing something very right.
Isn't it better for us retail investors, esply long term ones, to be right over years than to be right over days?
& btw, who will take a certain "forecaster" here who's mostly wrong in his daily forecasts seriously? 🃏
SCI went up from $6 mianly because of rising oil / gas prices which will allow it to make more profits. And oil prices even if the war ends tomorrow are expected to remain elevated for one year or more because the damage already done. So very good chance SCI will cross $7 again in the very near future.

With 16ct dividend, nobody wl know whether after XD, wl
price go below $6.50 ? It may drop less than or more than
16ct and if miraculously turned positive which I' ve seen
it b4 for some other counters .
Question is yr holding cost ? u hv to decide whether worthwhile
to hold for the dividend or not ..
Fundamentally,, it agurs well for SCI with the Alinta acqusition,
as it delivers immediate earnings and returns accretion
And gg fwd, both top and bottom line wl be raised including
dividend payout.
Technically, SCI meanwhile support ard 6.65 and getting
bottomish soon.
Do not feel despair when u are buying a good company
with good earnings and dividend payout .

Checkerman " will fallbelow 6.50 after XD" makes my heart sad and lost my appetite ... sian I could have released it, if not for that lousy good for nothing analyst that said, " $8.05"

Looking ahead, a decisive move above the $7.00 would be needed to confirm bullish continuation, towards the next key upside level around the $7.80 resistance, which marks the previous swing high seen in July 2025. A successful retest of this level would represent a continuation of the broader uptrend and could attract further momentum-driven buying. (Pls note that investors have existing call warrants to exit in 2-3 months so they may have fund power to drive up SCI price.)
