Utilities counters are rarely dividend plays unlike reits, but if everbright can increase earnings from from these BOT projects, there could be potentially big capital gains from this counter. And from the looks of it, at a 52 weeks low it is definitely worth buying in.
0.420-0.435 would probably provide a sufficient margin of safety, anything else would be dependent on whether the funds believe that these BOT projects could be successful. China will be investing alot of money into building their water resources infrastructure in the next couple years. And I think at the moment it is a fair price to be paying.

With all these big projects, are we expecting super heavy CAPEX requirements going forward? Don' t know still can get dividend or not this FY. These days, only dividend paying counters can maintain their share prices and go up. Like reits, who dare to short when they issue regular dividends every quarter?

CHINA Everbright Water Limited said its consortium has secured the Nanning Shuitang River Integrated Restoration Public-Private Partnership Project in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
A public-private partnership agreement in relation to this project with a total investment of about 1.466 billion yuan (S$303.6 million) was inked with the Inland River Management Bureau of the City of Nanning.
The project will be surveyed, designed, invested, financed, constructed, operated and maintained by a project company to be jointly incorporated by a consortium led by Everbright Water and Nanning Jianning Water Investment Group Co Ltd.

last yr it bounce up frm 0.42 to all the way to 0.725 n yet tis yr & down the rd rev n profits will b higher.....oil px increase will effect a higher water tariff rate too....am watching to collect more.....
