Maybe short-term pump n dump type?  During kankore restructuring days, some of us probably made quite a bit.  But since then, from high of 1+ now seems generally in sliding mode leh.  I played ard 70c+, but cut with a small loss.  China mkt very big.  But I think these days probably too many players too.  Perhaps that' s why OL also run road, now left with small bit there only.  DYODD though.

Was so disappointed and sold off 2 years ago at ard $1. Luckily on hindsight now if not losing more as a longterm shareholder. Back in hankore days went as high as 14-15c and then down all the way even after share condolidation. That time was $1.20? Look at now.

Agreed.   I have sold mine long ago after the consolidation, but what you said is very true.   Paying dividends is digging into the bank accounts, while using the money for viable projects or increment of solid assets is a better choice.   So if the company can restrain from giving attractive dividends, would be seen as better alternative.   It is therefore correct to give small interim dividends.

Looking to buy back since I am still in profit technically after having sold in the $ region.   Lol.

Observers      ( Date: 24-Apr-2016 14:30) Posted: I rather they use all their cashflow on building their business than to return dividend to shareholders. After all, the industry is still highly fragmented in China. There should still be trillions of RMBs of opportunities out there.

 

I'm in this for long term. Hopefully it repays me double the sum I've invested
