Dow up 120 points now and major European markets firmer by 0.3 to 0.47%.. so if Dow can close firm tonight, then tmr we can see a bounce for DBS as it had been sold down for past few days...
How long will DBS go before a meaningful rebound
SSE and HSI are very volatile today like rollercoaster. After becoming positive, both indices corrected and now SSE is down 29 points n HSI down 169 points... there' s more action later I think.
HK Shares rebounding strongly! HSI going up to positive now after recovering more than 450 points loss this morning!
HSI futures up 194 and Dow futures up 164!
DBS correlate closely to CHinese Mkts and now up strongly to 17.88!
I got a feeling that Chinese pension funds will start their buying this afternoon as tmr is their Big celebrations and two days of holidays... so how can the Garmen lose face?
HK stocks will follow when A shares go up strongly...
Technical rebound for DBS after being sold down for past few days as Dow futures showing plus 112 points. Day low at 17.56 and now Bid at 17.74 Ask 17.75.
8cents for such heavy weight? ( minus ur brokerage?)

Since the last low for the year, DBS has gapped up somewhat and now down again. The market in which it operates are all very negative - Singapore, China, S E Asia and now Australia. What is its future?

But this morning OCBC analyst said can come down to $ 17.11 sell leh...

Weak close near the low at 17.47. If Dow close down sharply tonight, DbS will sell down again tmr so we can watch for entry price over the week. No hurry..
Still on downward trend as long as 17.6 resistance is not broken. Suggest to wait a while if you going to long this.

I don' t think so. The downward momentum is still strong. It' s very risky trying to catch a falling knife.

SSE down by 4.56% and DOw futures minus 284.. causing more nervousness in the markets..
DBS sold down to 17.64 after touching a day low of 17.60.
DBS fell to 17.64 as SSE down more than 2% and Dow futures down 275 points indicating a weak opening in US Mkts tonight.
Closed at 17.76..on heavy profit taking after news that Fed may raise interest rates in Sep.
Further easing of DBS seen.. Bid 17.90, Ask 17.91, day low 17.86.. may be due to profit taking during last week run up to a day high of 18.42 0n 28 Aug.
DBS closed at 18.01 .. a whisker above 18.00..
Ya.. ease further as mood turned cautious.. Dow futures down 162 points now..
