Undervalued no use unless there are buyers willing to pay fully valued price.   So far seems to have big buyer but simply holding up the price but not pushing it up.   Dunno what games they playing.

I believe there is opportunity to reach.
Logically it should be at lease 170, as current price is similar to price before profit guidence, so it is not reflecting the turning around and profitable situation.
Some are accumulating, so price consolating and inch up stage by stage

Take care too, all who venture into this battlefield of Seatrium.
Its psychological warfare here in addition to the physical ravages of war.
As our respected member Naoshingo has noted, definitely not for the faint hearted.
But on a positive side, this counter tests our patience and capacity for hope.
After all, as the name of the thread suggests, never lose hope.
Once we do, we sink and perish.

Where is Mr Chan? Quick push up leh, I want to free up some cash )
It doesn' t do shit.   Too small to make a difference in price movement.   And unless it retires the shares it bought, it doesn' t increase our equity either.   So its just book keeping, showing as treasury shares instead of cash in retained earnings.   Ok, tiny difference in EPS but rounding error.

Short sellers like to sell. Let them sell loh. Or else how to get cheap price. Problem is buyers don't know control their greed to sell at high price, turn greed to self explain and self convince when price drop, then turn pain and sorrow to curse short sellers. In facts those sell at very low price are those cursing one. Short sellers at high price have turn to a buyers when cursing one is selling. Lol...

Firstly, share lending delays some of my dividend payments for those shares lent out. I have a strict dividend timetable as I need to pay my bills promptly using my dividends.
Secondly, some shares are lent out at less than 1 percent per annum interest. Too paltry a figure and I have to include these small sums in my accounts.
Thirdly, with the rise of cfd and broking houses, there is less demand for lending out shares from cdp. Previously I could get 4 percent interest from cdp because of better demand, perhaps.
Lastly, I am paring down equity holdings as I age. So the lending power is getting less and less. For a couple of dollars more a month is hardly worth all the book keeping and tracking of my stocks.
So I will sign off a physical letter tomorrow to inform cdp y post I wish to stop lending, according to the advice the sages of the past have given, "neither a borrower nor a lender be."
Best wishes to you all

I was a believer in efficient market hypothesis.
The market is supposed to reflect the true price of a security as information is available to the public. At the same time, investors have sufficient holdings either in cash or in stock to trade at free (willing buyer and willing seller) prices. If a seller is selling at a true price that a buyer is happy to accept, there is a happy exchange. Short selling is merely one type of this happy exchange.
At least that was my view |

Naked shorts should be disallowed as well.
Only allow shares that's been bought with yr own monies and not borrowed shares
