Very sad to saw this.
i did not vested because im unclear of the impact of UE to Yanlord.
anyone mind to explain why such a good company can get hurt that badly and would the share price recovery?

The recent drop in share price was related to United Engineering?
The last extension only attracted another roughly 1m shares @0.14% total share. The market has spoken, the offer is just not competitive.
IMHO, Yanlord still wants to acquire more than 50%, else there is just no point of doing this in the first place. They mentioned they prefer not to delist UE, so they are stuck in trying to get the right price out for enough shareholders to accept and hoping long term investors to want to hold on.
Everyday they are extending cost them money. The cost of Deal Manager (UOB) and legal team to support this is quite substantial. I am sure they want to fast deal and may be close to getting the financial support to up the offer soon (hence the 1 week extension).
Ching/Oxley is just bidding his time. He just need to make sure the share price do not close below his buying price. Oxley is the other counter to consider too. Every $0.1 increase in offer is $8.7m gross profit to Oxley.

Gotta agree that the selling is quite scary.... not big drops, but steadily going down everyday ....
Previously china aviation oil also went down from 1.8 to 1.45 after reporting a decent set of results. Not that yanlord should be following. But price has appreciated quite abit for them

I had just checked the short sell for today.
Short sell volume  -  105k
Total volume  -  4,157k
Short sell only attributed 2.5% of total volume.
All sells are actual sells, not speculative activities. Once BB come in push down the price, it will hurt even more.
What is the reason behind for a developor  company with good result to fall?

Correction just started. Unable to retake 1.745 on the right shoulder. Key level 1.67 broken. Likely to go down more to find a new base
The drop is largely due to its unsuccessful bid to buy UE at a cheap price of $2.60 ?

Cooling measures in China is hurting the developer business. Should fall back to 1.40 soon.
not to worry
Hopefully not fall too much.... gonna hold and avg down later.... )
It seems to me that Yanlord will continue to fall, as all the sell are actual sell, not short sell.
The short sell volume for last two days are as follows.
06/09/2017    105,100 units @ $180,487.50
05/09/2017    33,300 units @ $58,108.50

It' s possibly due to price trends he spotted.     It' s useful, but not conclusive, and if the company reported good results, it' s risky to short the stock.

Just google collinseow.com loh.
I wonder why he come out with such conclusion while Yanlord just reported such good results.

It' s trending downwards, however, this downward trend started in early August, hence it' s probably not related to the DC revision.  I thought revision for commercial properties is minimal?

The support of this shares had gone. Now it is free to go down without resistance.

Got technical say to short Yanlord, as it will go down until 1.60?
What is u all view?
Was that due to the recent increase in DC?
