What is the progress of CNMC applying to main board?
CNMC Goldmine (SGX:5TP) has officially initiated the process to upgrade its listing.
On May 14, 2026, the company submitted a formal application to the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST) to transfer its listing from the Catalist board to the SGX Mainboard.
Why the Move Now?
The board stated that the proposed transfer is highly appropriate and timely given the company's recent surge in production scale, resource base, and profitability. Driven by strong gold prices and increased output, CNMC?s net profit jumped significantly over the last few years, reaching US$42 million for FY2025 (up from US9.8millioninFY2024andUS4.1 million in FY2023).
By shifting to the Mainboard, CNMC aims to:
Enhance corporate image: Mainboard-listed companies often command a premium and enjoy greater visibility.
Widen investor base: This opens doors to institutional funds and retail investors whose mandates strictly limit them to investing only in Mainboard entities.
Improve liquidity and valuation: It generally attracts broader and more consistent coverage from market analysts, helping to better reflect the underlying value of the group.
Next Steps & Conditions
The transfer is not immediate and remains subject to a few key hurdles:
SGX-ST Approval: The company must receive in-principle approval from the SGX and satisfy all quantitative and qualitative Mainboard listing requirements.
Shareholder Approval: Shareholders must vote on and pass a special resolution regarding the transfer at an upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM).
The board has reminded investors that there is no absolute certainty or assurance at this stage that the transfer will be successfully completed.
*CNMC* aims to transfer listing from Catalist to Mainboard.

more fund managers will start looking at CNMC and put it in their shortlist

I am probably more concerned with the diesel coat since this has spiralled upwards. Notvsure how much of the production cost is due to diesel?

My mistake, royalty increase from 10% to 15% should be increase of 50%. The cost increased should be USD200 instead. There will be some impact to the profit grow, although now is sitting with over 1000 compared to FY25. You may out the production cost from the AGM presentation posted in SGX.

What's the 5% based on?
Revenue, production output?
How did you get USD20?
Thanks

The increase of royalty will be my least worry as 5% increase is only about USD20 per ounces. The current gold price is already much higher thean the ave selling price of USD 3,589 in FY25, it easily cover it. Just my 6-cents.
CNMC aims to transfer listing from Catalist to Mainboard
CNMC Goldmine Holdings has applied for a transfer its listing from Catalist to the Mainboard, to help enhance long-term value for its shareholders.
The company says that by doing so, it can " heighten" its image both locally and overseas, as " public investors tend to place a premium" on those listed on the Mainboard, and enjoy better visibility and liquidity.
CNMC believes it can also secure a wider platform and greater opportunities for fund raising, including from investors whose mandates restrict their commitment to only Mainboard companies.
" The directors believe that this would result in a market valuation that better reflects the underlying value of the group," says CNMC. The company notes that Mainboard listed companies enjoy more analysts' coverage as well.
CNMC notes that in the last three financial years, earnings improve from US$4.1 million in FY2023 to US$42.0 million in FY2025.
" Throughout this period, the Group has maintained sound profit margins and generated steady operating cash flows, demonstrating the resilience of its core gold mining and processing operations and its ability to operate effectively across varying market conditions," says CNMC.
The proposed transfer is subject to conditions including approval from shareholders.
CNMC shares closed at $1.35 on May 14, down 4.93%.
The day earlier, the company announced that local authorities are asking for higher royalties.

Last evening, there is a good announment -> " the Company intends to undertake the proposed transfer of the listing of the Company from the Catalist Board of the SGX-ST (the &ldquo Catalist&rdquo ) to the Main Board of the SGX-ST (the &ldquo SGX Main Board&rdquo ) (the &ldquo Proposed Transfer&rdquo ), and that the Company has, on 14 May 2026, submitted an application to the SGX-ST in relation to the Proposed Transfer."
CNMC receives circular from local Kelantan mining authority to pay higher royalties
CNMC Goldmine Holdings, which operates in Kelantan, says local authorities have raised the royalty rates miners in the state have to pay for their production.
The company says it received a circular from the Kelantan State Land and Mines Office stating that with effect from Jan 1, it is to pay a 15% royalty rate on gold, up from 10% now, and 12% to be paid on silver, also up from 10%.
The rate on other minerals lead and zinc will remain the same.
CNMC, citing its Malaysian legal advisors, says that any variation to royalty rates imposed by a State Authority is generally required to be supported by publication in the official gazette in order for it to take legal effect.
" No official gazette publication was attached to the circular effectively revising the royalty rates to the new rates stated above.
" As at the date of this announcement, the company has not been served with such published official gazette.
" The company is currently assessing the implications of the circular together with its legal advisers.
CNMC says it is also working closely with all relevant stakeholders, including its joint venture partner, Kelantan State Economic Development Corporation, and the Kelantan Mining Association, to make representations and submit an appeal against the proposed increases in the royalty rate payable.
CNMC Goldmine shares closed at $1.42 on May 13, down 3.73%. At its peak just over two months ago, CNMC shares were changing hands at more than $2.
