Doubt they can... They' re already having trouble filling up their own shelves as suppliers are cutting ties with them.
Furthermore, JE is the Capland stronghold (IMM-Westgate-JCube) + Jem.
Big Box is just a shambling zombie, steer clear unless you want to be bitten.

True unless they can come out with idea how to bring customer from JEM and Westgate to their big box, if not then truly it is an empty big box.

Big Box lives up to its name: a big, empty box.

Not surprising considering how TT' s furniture businesses are lacklustre too

Hmm... I tot my eyes got problem... check again ...and sure the figure reads
NET LIABILITY of $387,291,000  ==> $387 million!!!!

Their debts minus away all their assets, they still own others $387 million net.. WOW...

Basis for disclaimer of opinion

The Company is placed under a Scheme of Arrangement (the &ldquo Scheme&rdquo ) sanctioned by the Court

of Appeal in Singapore on 13 October 2010. The Company&rsquo s ability to continue as a going concern

is dependent on the successful implementation of the Scheme, the profitability of future operations,

the ability to secure financing as and when required, and the continuing support of bank and

other creditors, suppliers and other parties. The Group has incurred a net loss of $90,987,000

(2016: $59,729,000) for the year ended 31 March 2017 as set out on page 45. In addition, as at

31 March 2017, the Group and the Company are in a net current liabilities position of $387,291,000

(2016: $353,206,000) and $238,488,000 (2016: $202,511,000), respectively. As at 31 March 2017,

a subsidiary is in default of its loan repayment obligation which was due on 31 March 2017 and a

subsidiary is in breach of certain loan financial covenants. These factors indicate the existence of

material uncertainties which may cast significant doubt about the Company&rsquo s ability to continue as

a going concern.

Big Box should operate a private bus drop off point at its premises, esp for buses that ply the nearby International Business Park. I notice the designated public bus drop off point opposite Big Box is not very driver friendly - the buses needs to make a huge round about to get to the public drop off point. Getting to Big Box would be much faster.

I' m not talking about shuttle buses which cost alot of money to operate and where big box might not fully capitalise on since it is connected to Jems. Just a bus drop off point for private buses that   would normally have used the public drop off point that filters the passengers straight into the MRT station. What a waste of foot fall.

Not vested.
