AIM stocks tend to be volatile high-risk/high-reward investments and are intended for people with an appropriate degree of equity trading knowledge and experience.
&ldquo London&rsquo s increasingly popular AIM market is fairly unique when compared with the other world markets. It provides smaller companies with a well-established, regulated place to access new capital and move into new growth phases,&rdquo explains Simon Partington, head of global trading at TD Direct Investing.
&ldquo Trading in AIM stocks makes up a quarter of all trading by private shareholders &ndash we find many of our customers look to AIM as a place to find that next big growth story. This growth potential could explain why AIM is often seen as a more exciting opportunity for the younger investor. A recent TD Direct Investing survey revealed that the AIM index had three-and-a-half times more 30- to 44-year-old investors than those in the 45 to 75 age group.&rdquo
There are tax benefits if you invest in AIM. Most AIM shares are exempt from inheritance tax and can be included in stocks & shares ISAs. AIM stocks are also free of stamp duty.
However, Mr Partington warns many companies listed on AIM don&rsquo t survive, let alone move up to the FTSE. &ldquo Investors should always do their research and understand the business they choose to invest in. TD Direct Investing provides customers low-cost access to the AIM markets, with comprehensive research and market news reports to help you make informed trading decisions,&rdquo he says.
I wonder, Sky Global, now Global Sky, was a UK company. How come nobody interested in GINV listed in Lodon AIM? Much cheaper, around SGD 13 cents nia.
Once bit by the London boys, players afraid to come back? Funny thing is that the AIM listed GINV shares have practically ZERO transactions. And much cheaper than in Singapore. Are G Invacom share price in Singapore overvalued?
Well. Is almost two weeks to today, Friday. Market players has move on, to others counter.

Cannot arbitrage so not fungible
Looks well controlled....Locked in mid-term, likely to see good gain...
Dont know how to check whether they are fungible or not. ChinaNewtown shares were fungible between HK and Sing. So people always arbitrage between HK and Sing.

Local and AIM listing should be separate...unlikely to see interchangable. Believe the upcoming reporting will Boost up the company reputation...

If the share price in London is 8 pence, then based on current foreign exchange rate of 1 pound to SGD 1.70, the share price is equivalent to 13.6 cents SGD ONLY.

Corporate Profile
Listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (&ldquo SGX-ST&rdquo ) and the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange (&ldquo AIM&rdquo ) in the United Kingdom, Global Invacom Group Limited (&ldquo Global Invacom&rdquo or the &ldquo Group&rdquo ) is a world leading fully integrated satellite communications (&ldquo Sat Comms&rdquo ) equipment provider. The Group is one of seven companies worldwide involved in research and development, design and the supply of Sat Comms products to large-scale satellite broadcasters.
With a legacy that dates back to 1985, Global Invacom is the result of a reverse takeover (&ldquo RTO&rdquo ) in 2012 of United Kingdom-based satellite equipment company Global Invacom Holdings Limited, by SGX-ST listed Radiance Group Limited. In 2014, shares of Global Invacom were admitted to trading on AIM. The admission to AIM raised the Group&rsquo s international profile and better positioned the Group to continue its selective acquisition strategy as it seeks to consolidate a highly fragmented marketplace.
With seven  manufacturing plants across China, Israel, Malaysia, United Kingdom and the USA, Global Invacom products, which include satellite dishes, low noise blocks (LNBs), switches, video distribution components, waveguides and electronic manufacturing services, are being used in the consumer electronics, communications, computer peripherals and medical industries.
Global Invacom, being a Sat Comms equipment market innovator, has 59 granted patents, a further 65 patent applications and a 30-year track record in pioneering new products. With a global marketing reach, integrated manufacturing footprint and strong research and development capabilities, Global Invacom continues to strive to position itself as a global leader in the industry.

I think this stock is also listed in London AIM. Is there some arbitraging going on between London and Singapore prices? Is share fungible between the 2 exchanges? Anyone knows?

They used to report half yearly .. half year n full year.
This year they reported 1st n 2nd quarter .. so its possible they may report
a 3rd quarter followed by a full year. If they report a 3rd quarter its likely to be in nov.
Just guessing.
