China AA price now at 7710. A steep rebound from around 6500 just merely a week plus ago. But don' t know if can sustain at this price. At this level I think is still making losses. If you believe in the long term growing demand for AA and that this oversupply condition is short term, maybe can invest. Market is forward looking and if AA price continue to rebound, Sunvic share price may go up also. TA for Sunvic shows that 0.38 is support. Not expert here but just sharing my humble observation. Maybe someone in the chemicals field can offer a better outlook. Not vested. Still monitoring..

Any1 knows wat happened to the MTBE plant.....no mentioning of it in the latest FY???
We refer to the qualified independent auditor&rsquo s report dated 11 April 2014. In respect of the idle assets and the MTBE plant mentioned in the said report, we have already appointed a Singapore professional valuer to value these assets. We will make the necessary announcement to update shareholders in due course.
Q4 alone lost more than 200 mil RMB. Ending of S -cheat is the same. Becoming a penny cheap cheap worths cents only.
I have to eat my own humble pie. Am lucky to sell off all my lots at 0.51. Made net loss of about ~$300. Was worried at that time when China AA price keep dropping, to around 6300RMB per tonne when i sold off. It has since rebounded from a low of ~6000RMB to around 6500RMB as of today.
Made a net loss this Q due to large impairment of the crackling plant (about RMB 573 million), otherwise it would have made a profit due to the gain from the French giant. But operational profits wise would still be a loss due to low selling prices of AA and AE.
Fundamentally, short-term wise doesn' t look good for AA prices due to oversupply. Technically, Sunvic look likes uptrend but could be bull trap (or not). 0.455 must hold for uptrend to continue. No longer vested but will visit again if oversupply condition of AA ceases.

Adding a few more lots @ 0.47. China acrylic acid price should have bottomed out. This is a volatile and extremely high risk stock. Better not touch if can' t stand wild price fluctuations. Long term wise fundementals still intact and it is also a subsidary of DBS Vickers Securities.
If 0.47 cannot hold, next support is @ 0.39. Wish myself and all shareholders good luck!!

ya man..i oso stucck in this counter...i shouldnt have chase this counter even though i think long term this company still sound and ok..
Should see some form of technical rebound at 0.39 - 0.4 range...

haha thanks for concern.. Now cut also too late le.. Money I put in this counter is spare cash which I can afford to lose. I got do my homework before buying. If lose money because of bad judgement and investment, I willing to bear the consequence. I mean in life you win some and lose some. I believe in the company that' s why I buy, but can only blame if cannot get at the best price. My risk management applies here also when I included this in my portfolio, that' s why didn' t put in alot of money. Yesterday, china AA price formed another low after when you thought AA price has bottomed out. Macro and global events are really hard to predict, time and guage. Short-term wise looks like the oversupply situation is not going to ease any soon. But price may have already factored in the gloom. I mean is hard to say. Just invest small small with spare cash you can afford to lose can le. Enjoy the process of investing and grow as I learn. Hehe..
