price sliding once again
hopeless ever since RTO

Considering HK' s best-case earnings in a " trouble-free" quarter, HK cld contribute net profit of RMB 30 m per quarter. This is not including water tariff revision which will set in.    Realistically, we should expect HK' s contribution to be  RMB 100m or more.
They are trying to do away with the ugly burden of HK prior to the RTO, which is not a bad thing anyway for the new company.
If u strip away the fair value losses of HK' s 2014 and only add on the recurring income to consolidated CEW, u should expect a significant increase in 2015 earning.  I reckon it should be more than 50rmb, to be conservative. This is not excluding the starting up of the new expanded/upgraded facilities in 2H2014. The coming first full quarter consolidated earning will be more telling.

I am no accountant.  What I see they were doing - in using weighted no. of shares as against true total no. of shares of the CEW is to make PE ratio more pleasant.  Anyway, if we were to take Hankore' s contributions for the past 4 quarters, it will translate to a loss (Remember Hankore registered losses exceeding RMB110m in the FY ending June 2014).  So taking into account 2 or 3 wks of Hankore' s earnings since the RTO is a gd way not to dig out previous undoings.
Today' s rise in water stocks, CEW and SIIC, following the announcement that investment in major water conservancy projects under construction  in China will exceed 800 billion yuan according to a government work report delivered by  Chinese Premier Li, certainly augurs very well for both CEW and SIIC.  Hence, the request for shareholders' approval for the  massive increase in authorized capital next wk.  Hopefully, the project flow will come in strongly in the wks and mths ahead.
anyone can explain? thks

I like to think that if someone would put a hundred million in a company, they would expect quite a bit of returns or even double it. since we lack the resources or connections, best is to keep eyes open and pray, after due deligences of course. Hope it goes the same way as for united envirotech.
leacking big time man. When will it stop?

Everbright International Wins Shandong Pingdu Waste-to-Energy Project
4 February 2015, Hong Kong ? China Everbright International Limited ("Everbright International" or the "Group") (HKSE: 00257) is pleased to announce that it has won the bid for the Shandong Pingdu Household Waste-to-Energy Project (?Pingdu Project? or the ?Project?) with the leading score in the overall bidding process. Pingdu Project will be the seventh household waste-to-energy project that the Group has invested in Shandong Province.
Pingdu Project will be constructed on a BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) basis for a concession period of 30 years. It will be constructed in two phases and will have a total designed daily household waste processing capacity of 900 tonnes. The Project Phase I has a designed daily household waste processing capacity of 600 tonnes, commanding a total investment of approximately RMB360 million. All gas emissions will comply with the Euro 2000 Standard and it is expected to generate 70,000,000 kWh of green electricity annually.
Under the administration of Qingdao City, Pingdu City is the largest county-level administrative region in Shandong Province and a booming coastal city which is opening up to the rest of the world. The current daily household waste collection volume in Pingdu City is approximately 1,000 tonnes. Due to the growth in the local living standards, Pingdu Municipal Government is actively promoting the harmless treatment, reduction and reuse of household waste in the city. The Project will effectively improve the urban environment in Pingdu City.
Mr. Chen Xiaoping, CEO of Everbright International, said, ?Shandong Province has long been one of Everbright International?s important markets. So far, the Group has invested and operated in over 20 environmental energy and environmental water projects in over 12 counties and cities in the province. Pingdu Project is another important venture in the Group?s process of tapping into Shandong market. In the latest practice of integrated treatment of rural and urban household waste, the Project will help resolve local environmental problems and improve local living standards, as well as make a substantial contribution to the city?s sustainable development.?
