Genting dream Cruise will begin sailing this October, starting with Taiwan the next 2 days, this could help in supplement it's income and soon it will go to normal as more cruise will start doing it's journey, seem to be a good new going forward and confidence coming back to genting hk.

Singapore is planning to allow so-called cruises to nowhere in what could be among the first of measures to reopen leisure travel in the city-state, the Straits Times reported.
The country&rsquo s tourism board appointed Norway-based risk management company DNV GL AS to create a health and safety framework for cruise lines that want to restart sailings from Singapore, the newspaper said, citing tender documents related to the plan. The company will also develop a certification program and a framework for non-compliance with safety measures, the paper said.
The move could give some relief to cruise operators as the city-state has halted dock-ins since March following the global outbreak of Covid-19. Earlier this week, Singapore Airlines Ltd. scrapped a similar plan to operate short flights to nowhere on environmental concerns and instead will open one of its Airbus SE A380 superjumbos as a temporary restaurant.
Cruises to nowhere will be allowed with a maximum occupation of 50% of a ship&rsquo s original capacity for the first three months. No date was given for when this program might start, according to the report. All cruise lines must be audited and receive Singapore&rsquo s certification to sail out of its ports.
The tourism board told the newspaper that the certification aims to assure passengers that a cruise has met safety and hygiene requirements and that more details will be announced later.
The cruise industry has been eager to restart operations, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday extended a no-sail ban in the U.S. by a month, to Oct. 31, saying further action is needed before cruises can safely resume. It said data from March through September show more than 3,600 Covid-19 or Covid-like cases on cruise ships in U.S. waters, and at least 41 reported deaths.
Carnival&rsquo s Ruby Princess Docked, Then Spread Covid to the World
The industry shut down in March after a series of Covid-19 outbreaks at sea, including one at cruise giant Carnival Corp.&rsquo s Diamond Princess off Yokohama, Japan, in February. Even healthy passengers have suffered, as many ports turned ships away for fear of seeding new shore-side outbreaks. Tens of thousands of crew members were trapped on vessels for months.

Worst is over for genting hk, no more trouble water , more destination was opened or in place for real opening and booking, Funds are coming in, and cash flow issue is coming to past, lkt should increase the numbers of cruise journey ,just like what ccl is doing.

The share prices has discounted those elements and has bottomed , chances of shares prices to rise then fall as it was heavily sold down earlier .

Remember how no countries are willing to dock the ships? How many ppl have died holidaying on the ship?? Is it worth it? As long you are still alive kicking, you can made back any losses. Be safe is paramount.
Where in the world you can fine a cruise company with a fleet of huge sailing cruise ships , several ships yaght and casino at this prices ?
Most of the countries are opening up in may , and things will be usual for Genting HK again

Genting&rsquo s SuperStar Gemini, which arrived April 17 from Hong Kong, is currently berthed at Marina Bay Cruise Centre where it will undergo an assessment to determine its suitability for temporary housing, according to Singapore&rsquo s tourism board.
The assessment will consider, among other areas, the ship&rsquo s ventilation systems, security protocols and infection control measures, and will only be used to house foreign workers if it passes the assessment, it said. SuperStar Aquarius may be activated for assessment at a later date.
Should the cruise ship proposal by Singapore go ahead, the low-wage workers will be allowed scheduled outdoor time and provided mobile phone connectivity and wireless Internet surfing, the tourism board said.
