Otto Marine takeover moves a step closer:  http://splash247.com/otto-marine-takeover-moves-step-closer/
The cut throats have sucked the bloods of Singaporean investors dry.   Just look around and see how much money were sucked from them all these years in all those counters that were consolidated before making profits and then privatize once the companies turned around.
Too many examples, and Otto M itself in 2015 consolidated the shares 1 for 20. Before that its high was around 40 cents traded to a low of 0.2 cents.   Earlier it has called several rights issues. Wow lau!!!
Just imagine how to hold a Singapore share?   That is why millions are continually lost by uncles and aunties.

Does retialer need to do anything if offer price of 32 is accepted?
The rich gets richer....the way to go for the rich, crap!! Can only watch and see the wayang!
This one after announcing delisting for a song now announce new contracts.  Rubbing salt painfully into retailers'   wounds ah?
Precisely the pt.  My suspicions are that in many cases insiders themselves engineer a px collapse to collect n eventually delist on the cheap.

You can guess who the adulterers are, but you can never pinpoint them out because they know how to hide, lol.

The NAV is USD 0.9772 (about SGD1.30), the shortists are to be blamed for shorting the  share prices to such low level that gave opportunity to major shareholders to delist the company at good bargain. For this case, SGD0.32 (24% of NAV). Can anyone coment if all the sharesholders other than the major shareholders vote against the delisting in EGM, will it stop the delisting? If unable to stop delsiting at EGM, what will happen if all other minority  shareholders do not accept the offer, what is going to happen to the delisting? In the announcement, it mentioned about Offeror getting not less than 90%, but I do not remember  reading anything on less than 90%.
Is that the case? Or we dun need to sell since the price is already fixed and will be paid out to the shareholder?
