I' m in both water counters except SIIC. Seems like very few people interested in chinese water stocks though

any others out there looking at the Chinese water stocks? seems to be out of favour for a long while now and valuations have arrived at a rather compelling level as compared to historical norms. SIIC is trading at slightly above 10x PE, same goes for China Everbright Water (CEWL). only outlier is Citic Envirotech. in fact all three companies have been aggressively winning projects, doing M& A to grow yet they are not being loved much by investors here. SIIC and CEWL are both even trading under book value of approximately 0.8x whereas peers in HK are trading at multiples in excess of 2-3x on PB.
any thoughts or opinions would be much appreciated! |

Yeah, the rebound from historical low of 45 to 56 like no stopping and continuing
super rebound...
Agreed on BBs not need any news or reason to fluctuate the share prices.
SIIC' s track record seems to be fairly consistent there isn' t any reason to justify this sudden drop apart from forceful manipulation.

They would be the market manipulators, a lot of sudden price movements (without news or explanations) are caused by these manipulators whose objective is to make a profit at the expense of the small investor.

Quite puzzled at the sudden drop, was monitoring this stock. It just dived and dragon fly doji emerged today.
Will it rise tomorrow as the chart seems to indicate?
After rechecking, it is 11% of today' s share volume. But this is 3 times the average shorting volume of the last 6 month!
