Excellent results. Since my post on 10 oct 2016, the share price has doubled.
This is the reason why i always emphasize long hold. It always take time for a
share to reach its fair/full value.
Just sharing.
The board is currently at the advance stage of negotiation to acquire an influential stake in a newly built propylene processing plant, the purpose of this is to wider its LPG downsteam businesses and to enhance its revenue source and hence profitability.
The main reason for the surge to me.
Based on how i study it, most likely HK will be the choice for him to relocate to. And relatives will manage shanghai and nanjing offices.
HK fly to Shanghai very easy.

I dont add anymore. Dare not add. Hold some at low price level feels contented.
Scared if no privatization offer, yanlord will plunge to $1.30 to $1.50 .

The problem with S-chip is that people look at it with tainted glass, and nobody really dares to buy big positions for fear of another s-chip bomb. It is a perception problem.

Congrats to all shareholders who were patient and held on for the Q1 results. Profit came in at RMB 26.4m which is 131% higher than the previous year and even higher than Q4!!!
The Board is also confident of the outlook for 2017 and cautiously optimistic of its businesses in the coming quarters.
I certainly expect the share price to surge tomorrow and if it doesn' t, I will be loading more for sure.

The next catalyst I feel would depend on how the Q1 results do. If there is still good year on year growth, I expect Sinostar to surge past $0.30.

So far this stock only pays 0.5 cents dividend once a year , at year end. With so much cash, why didnt the company give a higher dividend?
People seem to be avoiding this as it is an s-chip.

Li Xiang Ping already owns over 330m shares on March 2016. Buying a few more million doesn' t really mean anything.
Any concerns on related party transactions? - over 80% of saw LPG comes from Dongming Zhongyou Fuel in FY 2016. Since LXP is also the Chairman of Dongming Petrochem, they can essentially ' play' with the COGS to their liking?
Not bad at all, just down 1c after a nice run through
the week. Next week chiong again
This co has 0 debt and a cash hoard of $103m. PE of only 7x and PBV of 1. Lots more room to chiong!
It' s a decent day for this counter.
China Huishan today down 91% in HK today becos of Muddy Waters accusations, so some s -chips here may also be dragged down due to sentiment damages. Just sharing some caution here.
It' s getting closer to 30c

Despite price rise, PE is still a reasonable 7.2x. I think still has room for price to advance.
