Aztech Dividend for Year Ending 31 Dec 17

I cant see the management  be happy with those minority who die die dun want to sell their shares during the general offer of 42 cents.
So maybe they give 40 cents dividends then stop giving.. that will be 2 cents less than the offer price.. reason? to make the minority " pay back" for their refusal to sell?? just a guess :)

i think their main motive is to distribute company profits through dividends back to themselves. Now delisted, the pie is shared by less people, so they can give more dividends. We the stubborn minority shareholders are just lucky to tag along for the ride. 

Just my little conjecture.

 

oh so is fast approaching 42 cents offer price if what u got is 40 cents dividend.. needs 2 more cents dividend to match the offer price.. anyway looks like Aztech management is quite kind. haha..

After that, i simply forgotten all about this stock. And today i just happened to surf this forum and came to know about the dividend thing. I thought i was left out of the dividends as i bought using a cpfis account. Guess what. My cpf account has been receiving the dividends this whole time and i was not aware at all!!  so happy now. Heard from forumers Aztech is trying and the remaining miniority shareholders had a AGM , company is doing well maybe proposed another dividend end of year ?

Delisted in Jan2017. Did a few buyout offers @42cts with little acceptance.
Finally declared 30cts interim dividend 12Jan2018. Hopefully its electronics business did turn around and its willingness to share profits with its minority shareholders numbering more than 4000 littleones (shareholders).

Controlling shareholder should work together with its Minority shareholders to grow the business and not trying to take advantage of their ignorance (who are mostly uncles & aunties.)
