EXtracted from UOB Kay Hian  for reference:
AEM Holdings (AEM SP)
Trading buy range: S$1.52-1.53
Last price: S$1.56
Target price: S$1.73
Protective stop: S$1.47
Price managed to stay above the cloud,
keeping the uptrend intact. A bullish
conversion and base lines crossover could
be likely. MACD is rising after a bullish
crossover. These could increase chances of
the stock price moving higher.
We see increasing odds of stock price testing
S$1.73. Stops could be placed at S$1.47.

Shld easily pass 160 , then can go high over 170 ?

AEM Holdings has reported earnings of $3.1 million for the 1HFY2025 ended June 30, a 245% y-o-y increase.

The group&rsquo s revenue for the period came in at $190.3 million, up 9.6% y-o-y due to its ramp into high volume manufacturing at its major AI/high-performance computing (HPC) anchor customer and the pull-in of orders related to its non-cancellable, long-dated purchase order programme with one of its customers

AEM Holdings earnings surged to $3.1 mil for 1HFY2025 from more favorable product mix
AEM Holdings has reported earnings of $3.1 million for the 1HFY2025 ended June 30, a 245% y-o-y increase.

The group&rsquo s revenue for the period came in at $190.3 million, up 9.6% y-o-y due to its ramp into high volume manufacturing at its major AI/high-performance computing (HPC) anchor customer and the pull-in of orders related to its non-cancellable, long-dated purchase order programme with one of its customers.

The surge in earnings was due to a more favourable product mix, the group says. It generated an operating cashflow of $46.4 million largely from the consumption of inventories.

The group&rsquo s test cell solutions (TCS) segment generated $118.6 million in revenue, representing about 62.3% of the group&rsquo s total revenue. This grew 18.8% y-o-y due to the successful production deployment and customer acceptance of the Group&rsquo s AMPS-BI solution, powered by PiXLTM thermal technology combined with the pull-in of orders into 1HFY2025.

The contract manufacturing (CM) segment, which accounted for 35.2% of the group&rsquo s revenue in 1HFY2025, saw a 4.7% y-o-y decline due to reduced demand from some end customers amid global trade uncertainties.

As at end June, the group&rsquo s total equity was valued at $483 million, a 1.9% y-o-y decrease primarily due to foreign exchange loss in translation of US dollar denominated assets.

As at end June, inventories saw a 17.3% decline, largely attributable to the pull-in of orders related to the non-cancellable, long-dated purchase order program with one of its customers.

The Group generated operating cash flows of $46.4 million during 1HFY2025, increasing cash balances by 36.6%. The debt-to-equity ratio remained at 0.2x.

The board of directors of AEM Holdings has appointed Samer Kabbani as CEO of AEM with effect from July 28, following the resignation of Amy Leong who was CEO for only a year. Kabbani joined as president and CTO in 2020.

The group expects revenue in 2HFY2025 to be in the range of $170 million to $190 million with its major AI / HPC customer expecting to ramp production in late 2025 / early 2026 for
its next generation AI accelerator.

It has received a purchase order for an evaluation final test handler from its memory customer and if accepted could result in production volumes in late 2026.

AEM net profit more than doubles to S$3.1 million
The stronger bottom line reflects the absence of one-off losses that were recorded the year before
[SINGAPORE] AEM Holdings : AWX 0% posted a 245 per cent increase in net profit to S$3.1 million for the half-year ended Jun 30, from S$895,000 the year before.

Revenue for the period rose 10 per cent year on year to S$190.3 million, up from S$173.6 million previously.

The semiconductor test-equipment maker said on Wednesday (Aug 13) that the increase was driven by a higher volume of sales to its anchor customer, as well as the pull-in of orders from other clients.

The revenue figure is in line with its revised guidance for the first half of the financial year, which was raised to between S$185 million and S$195 million, from an earlier forecast of S$155 million to S$170 million.

The stronger bottom line is the result of the absence of one-off losses of the year before, when other expenses in H1 FY2024 included a S$2.3 million loss on the disposal of an associate.

Gross profit for H1 FY2025 rose 11 per cent to S$48.3 million, from S$43.4 million the same period last year.

Revenue for its test-cell solutions segment rose to S$118.6 million, up 18.8 per cent from a year ago. AEM said that the higher revenue was due to the successful production deployment of the group&rsquo s semiconductor tester solution, AMPS-BI, together with pull-in of orders into H1.

However, contract manufacturing revenue for the half-year declined by 4.7 per cent to S$67 million for H1, due to reduced demand from some end customers amid global trade uncertainties.

The group generated an operating cashflow of S$46.4 million in H1, largely from the consumption of inventories.

Earnings per share for the period rose to S$0.0098 per share, from S$0.0029 a year earlier.

For the second half of this year, the group forecasts revenue to be in the range of S$170 million to S$190 million, broadly in line with H1 revenue.

This range reflects anticipated growth in the shipment of its AMPS-BI in Q4, although this may be partially offset by the timing of certain orders and potential foreign-exchange fluctuations, said the group.

AEM&rsquo s recently appointed chief executive officer, Samer Kabbani, said that the company has developed the next generation of test technologies, creating a strong foundation for the next phase of AEM&rsquo s journey.

He said: &ldquo We are near the stage of our technology roadmap and customer engagements where these innovations are ready to scale into high-volume production. We remain engaged with our customers to ensure our solutions address their most critical challenges as we enter this exciting phase of execution and expansion.&rdquo
