If all goes well, Capella 3 & 4 will be launched in 25 mins from now. To watch the Falcon 9 launch, try this website  https://www.nasaspaceflight.com/2021/01/transporter-1-rideshare-program-debut/ or go to Youtube,

Dont count on it... chut some pattern so shareholders will find the rights price attractive

Anyway, Whitney 1 & 2 (Capella Space) likely to be launched on Space X Falcon 9 rocket this Sun. If successful, a couple of weeks to get it commissioned and then recurrent airtime revenue will start to come in

IDRS is an enabler of satellite communication and it has been validated by research and markiet players. Would the new Space ETF by Ark Innovation be interested? The company also recently reported that they were presenting to overseas and institutional investors. hmmm..

Does this sounds like the new customer?

PredaSAR Corp., a Terran Orbital company, plans to deploy an initial constellation of 48 radar satellites with the goal of offering customers the ability to obtain updated views of sites on the ground within minutes.

PredaSAR is in negotiations with U.S. launch vehicle providers to begin sending satellite into orbit in early 2021, said Bell, PredaSAR co-founder and executive chairman.

ADDVALUE SIGNS A NEW IDRS CUSTOMER The Board of Directors of Addvalue Technologies Ltd (the ?Company?), and together with its subsidiaries, the (?Group?) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Addvalue Innovation Pte Ltd (?AVI?), has received commitment from another New Space LEO satellite operator to use AVI?s Inter-satellite Data Relay Service (IDRS) in its upcoming multi-satellite constellation. This new customer is engaged in the business of designing and operating a multi-LEO-satellite constellation, and AVI?s IDRS will serve as the communications backbone of the constellation in its provision of data services to commercial and government entities. As a demonstration of its commitment to IDRS, the new customer has placed an initial order for AVI?s supply of IDRS hardware and provision of airtime to support its LEO constellation operations. The first satellite in the constellation of LEO satellites of the new customer is to be launched in 2021. This constellation is the fourth in the list of the Group?s confirmed IDRS customers. Due to non-disclosure obligations, the Company is constrained from disclosing further details at this time AVI plans to release further details on this IDRS order as soon as it is free of the non-disclosure obligations. Despite the prevailing global Covid-19 pandemic, economic activities in the New Space have responded well, albeit with some delays in roll out. The Company is pleased with the progress made by its IDRS-Related Business thus far. Most significant is the successful commissioning of IDRS service on Sequoia, the first of the constellation of SAR satellites of Capella Space (?CS?) in November 2020, which is soon to be followed by CS?s subsequent launches of new satellites embedded with our IDRS terminals. The Company is presently in advanced commercial discussions with several operators of multiple LEO satellite constellations, and it expects to receive a significant number of IDRS related orders in the coming year. The IDRS hardware sales and associated airtime revenue of the Group should grow at an accelerated pace starting from early 2021.

Capella Space now offers the highest resolution SAR imagery commercially available

Darrell Etherington@etherington  /  10:00 PM GMT+8&bull December 16, 2020

SF-based small satellite startup  Capella Space    is now exclusively offering the most cutting-edge synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery available on the commercial market. The company has now made  available 50cm x 50cm &ldquo Spot&rdquo imagery  &mdash much higher resolution than the previous 1m x 25cm images that were the best available. SAR imagery offers advantages versus other types of satellite-based observation, because it can operate regardless of cloud cover, air visibility, lighting (whether it&rsquo s day or night) and more.

Capella Space has designed, built and operated its SAR satellites entirely in-house, making it the first U.S. company to do so. Founded and led by former JPL engineer Payam Banazadeh, the company has so far launched one of its satellites to orbit on a Rocket Lab launch that lifted off at the end of August. The company has plans to launch two more of its spacecraft on board a future SpaceX rideshare launch, potentially before year&rsquo s end.

Currently, Capella&rsquo s commercially available max resolution isn&rsquo t actually even technologically bound &mdash it&rsquo s limited by a maximum set by U.S. regulators about how detailed SAR imagery can be when made available to private sector buyers. Cappella notes that it can sell even better imagery to U.S. government customers, and that it should be able to offer even 25cm x 25cm resolution imagery commercially once &ldquo regulations catch up to technologies.&rdquo

SAR imagery is poised to become a major disruptive shift for space-based Earth imaging, especially as the technology to achieve this level of detail becomes more generally accessible and affordable, enabling startups like Capella to provide it to commercial businesses. It&rsquo s also a rich platform upon which to layer analytics and other types of observation data for detailed insights that simply weren&rsquo t possible with the limitations of optical imaging alone. Obviously, the tech is also very much of interest to national security organizations, and Capella already has contracts in place to show that, aided by its all-American pedigree.

In respect of our IDRS Business The positive validations and successful outcomes of the ongoing testing of applications for the commissioning of the Group?s IDRS terminal embedded within the successfully deployed first satellite of Capella Space?s planned Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) constellation to orbit on 31 August 2020 this critical milestone achieved by the Group will pave the way for the inauguration of the historic successful commissioning of the first publicly-available, real-time, on-demand IDRS service to be jointly provided by Capella Space, Inmarsat and the Group. The co-sharing of airtime revenue between Inmarsat and the Group as a result of which will soon follow suit, albeit starting from an initial low base which is expected to be steadily built-up over time in synchronization with the gradual formation of Capella Space?s planned full SAR constellation. The addition of the Group?s IDRS terminal onboard the satellite enables real-time satellite tasking by customer to capture the imagery of what they want, when they need it, globally, reducing the time between request and image capture from hours to minutes. The Group?s IDRS solution not only provides Capella Space with timeliness and cost efficiency, but also all of the security mechanisms built into Inmarsat?s network infrastructure. A joint press release concerning the landmark inauguration is expected to be released by the said three parties imminently
