Very easy and not much expenditure for them, if they want to privatise.

I think fund is exiting. Also, some people may be taking a calculated risk to sell thinking there will be no news to support the share price. In any case, I think bt sembawang should be re-rated as the risks it face is less than previously. What's more, it is the only developer of new greenfield landed houses. I don't think the prices will fall much below 5 unless people are panicked by the selling. Longists will look to buy more at bargain prices.

Don' t really want to keep blowing the Bt Semb trumpet but investors (as opposed to opportunistic traders) should appreciate most analysts rate their RNAV at $10+ to $12+. Current target prices range from $7+ to $8+ with reit-like sustainable dividend expected between 4 to 6%. Simply put, this seems to be one undervalued property stock one just buys and lock it up for a super sunshine future.

Short selling started on 26 July. Regular seasonal shortists trying to make a few bucks by frightening weak holders into selling.
not sure if can hit $6 - the stock is going ex next week.
$6= ??
They are the biggest land owner in SG. Remember all the junk lands, rubber plantations, .. all theirs. If revalue to today' s price, I thnk $15 at least.
