Have sold my 5.2 mil shares at average price of 0.0133. My average cost 0.012 as i was in early.

Will buy back if share drop to 0.012. I still believe in a year or 2, the company is likely to be profitable.

Just sharing my thoughts.

Hi Jimeagle, thank you for your input n insight. Appreciated.
Unfortunately I was mislead by the 2nd half profit of S$1 mil.
But its ok as i was in early n my cost quite low.

Doubling of capacity means almost doubling of expenses, but without guarantees there is doubling of patients..

lucky this is thinly traded and thus even though below expectation, share price shouldn' t move too much

Told you about the increase expenses and challenges..

Need to take into account the challenges the private sector is facing post covid: attrition of medical tourism, shift of patients to public hospitals due to HSG, restrictions set upon by insurers..

there will also be additional expenses to be incurred due to the new centre..

not sure if there will be increase patients load in view of the above challenges

AsiaMedic shld be releasing its result around mid Aug ' 25

In a normal year, the company is making around 2 mil per year as seen in
year ' 22 and year ' 23 where the profit was S$2.1 mil and S$1.9 mil respectively.
Year ' 24, the profit dropped to S$1.0 mil. Main causes for the lower profits were:
1) opening of new centre - Novena Centre
2) expansion of capacity at Shaw House
3) investment in new talent n technology
4) other costs - legal, consultations etc

Year ' 25 will likely be much better year:
1) its free from the expenses as numerated above - new centre, expansion of capacity etc
2) it has a much higher capacity w the new centre
3) 2nd half 2024, the company was already enjoying a profit of 1.1 mil

Above are just my guesses. Pls dyodd as I could be wrong in my " guess" .

Result is out. Company reported a loss of S$38,603.
This is a smaller loss than last year loss of S$104,431.

The revenue has improved from S$13,160,380 to S$16,615,469, an
improvement of 26%.

Management comment:
" Profitability was significantly affected by the new Novena imaging centre
as it remains in its ramp-up phase. However, the Group&rsquo s financial performance
reflects solid execution of its core business strategy amidst expansion."

For your info, I avoid popular hot stocks.
Normally I pick the under dog or off radar stocks.
Have been in the mkt for 30 years n still surviving,
so i guess my picks have to be alright. Of course
some of my picks could be wrong as i am only a
human.

Aspial postings are accurate.

But asiamedic is so so.

Asiamedic has been a top sell down stock for the past 18 years.

Bear cannot see how that will change.

Private health care in SG is a difficult and capital intensive business.

Go public instead.

Other health care stocks to consider, like thomson, parkway and qm can make a little. Consider these instead.

I hope the result will bear me up too.

All the best all of you!
