How about their no of shares? expand 10 times too?

AUM had expanded from about $600m, 10 years ago, to todate at AUM $8.6b which I don' t think it is good. AUM expanded more than 10 times and yet the DPU remains flat. We, unitholders have very high exposure.

Besides placement, there's also DRP which can also dilute DPU? Would total distribution be a better measure for performance?

Btw, you lost 1.86 new unit if you apply for 300 new units with 17,612 existing units.

brchkho1      ( Date: 13-May-2016 11:40) Posted:

On the average, due to the truncations on all the four components of $0.0168 distribution, 1 unit less for every 20,000 units if opted fully for the DRP. Based on the asumption of all unit holders take up the DRP, K Reit will save 112,318 units which translates to saving of $1,887. No big deal. Today is last day,  have confirmed with the K Reit Management that the form can still be hand in to the address on the envelope before 5pm today if you decide to take up DRP fully or partially. For 20,000 units,  according to the office, you may take up 17,612 units under DRP to get additional 300  units (to avoid odd lots)and receive cash for the remainiing 2,388 units.

That' s a good advise from " Senior" , but I don' t think the saving is a big deal. At the end of the day, the saving goes back to Keppel REIT and unitholders benefited from it.

Take for example, I have 34,417 existing units. I will get 588 new units and I will lose 1.9 new units because they round down or truncate the decimal places. This is because the DPU consists of 4 components and they trancate the results of each component. However, if I choose to pledge 34,347 existing units for DRP, I will still get 588 new units then the remainning 70 existing units receive in cash of $1.18. So I get extra $1.18 in cash if I optimize it. Imagine every unit holders pledge blindly, the company will collect or save a lot of residual odd units.

Be careful if you subscribe all the DPU with DRP, you may lose 1 to 2 units of DRP. I have generated a spreadsheet to optimize the subscription of DRP.

The DRP is worth subscibing. Priced at S$0.98/unit, the current trading price is S$1.05/unit already angel

Expiring on tomorrow (13 May 2016), quickly get lo yes

Keppel Reit' s price is going up. I believe the portfolio is resilient and only 3% expiry in 2016.
