If you are the owner of this company, you are throwing away something you builidng to grow. then what the point right? It' s not like those company that are own by family which the family retired
Its like recurring income , and you rather hold forever

If I understand the ann' t correctly, it says that there is an Expression of Interest (EOI) now from a certain party out there to acquite ALL of the stapled security units of AHospitality Trust. Hence, if Ascendas is ready to dispose-off ALL the units when  a worthy offer comes along, the AH Trust will sell-away all her units. Without anymore units, Ascendas will surely delist AH Trust since there are no more assets.

are you referring to Saizen Reit.  Their is that a PE funds buying their asset only after which they going to distribute the cash  cos they are trading below book value
its a good deal for Saizen

actually all of them are backed by strong parents unlike industrial reits

i only recall prevoiusly a poor reit, then was taken over and rename to be AIMS AMP.
i doubt ascendas hosp trust will delist

I wonder if a delisting is in the books after all the securities have been bought-up by  one single party. If it is,... then I' m begiining to see more and more REITs in the SGX starting to ' run-away' from the SGX. What' s happening to our SGX ? 
that why they willing to pay over book value
now it super expensive now.. compare to the rest of the other hosp which are trading between 0.6 to 0.8. This one above 1 for their asset. not worth it too

Frankly, nowadays one shudders whenever they is a trading halt called on SGX REITs - how often good news bah...
Obviously there is insider trading happening. Only in sgx can the rich pull such a stunt and not get caught.

interesting. no wonder prices been going up for the past few days then suddently it halted.
Most overbot stock within Hosp trust. Trading xpensive
Expect to go south soon

mid 40s already self sufficient and can travel 5 to 6 times already very good..
