Super Coffee  moving to 3.60 target and beyond.
this counter rise in past two years from 1.50 to 5.00 base on own merit?
I visited Super Coffee Farm in Pyinoowin in Burma. How they got a permit to plant there is amazing..... means Super connections. Means their raw material costs is soooo low.Arabica beans... whats more. 1 bag 10kg for S $2 .
Is that in the NAV? Goodwill, conections?
I have got some at home. Want some.
$3.51 nice.......
Valuation is subjective.... it is as accurrate as the available datas and experience of the person/s.  In any case, I belive the NAV at current mkt rate would be higher.  The institutions will know since  they have armies of professionals.

Shortlists all covered back.
Properties should be stated at fair value based on valuations performed by  independent professional valuers . The fair value are based on market value.
The valuation should be done on the financial reports cut off date, ie Balance Sheet date. If not, it should close to Balance Sheet date.

going to be another Asiasons????
I am not account trained, my question,
1) mkt value is taken when?  2012? 2013  Jan? or 2013 Oct?
2) from mkt value (date) to record (date) how long can that be, 6 months a yr or longer?
3) How is the mkt value derived? latest transacted price of similar properties in the area? if no property were transacted in the area in the last 2 years then how?
I see ways to present the same sets of numbers to different effect.....imo

I have no idea when they do the assets valuation. However, based on IAS & GAAP, they suppose to record their assets based on mkt value.

CS has unrated report on the counter. Note that while Super primarily sees itself as a branded consumer business in the coffee/ cereal space, its food ingredients business (57% of revenues) has been the bigger driver of growth over the past few years. Going forward, management expects growth of food ingredients business to normalise towards 20% YoY levels. Management is also planning to diversify into botanical herbal extractions to drive the next leg of growth. Geographically, Super is keen on consolidating its presence in key markets in ASEAN and East Asia. In ASEAN - Indonesia, Thailand and Myanmar provide growth opportunities, but there are some signs of consumer demand slowdown. In East Asia, Super is more optimistic on China ? with plans to increase ad spend. Overall, management expects volume growth rates to normalize towards high teen levels with the already high utilisation rates in the food ingredients segment. But management will focus on better efficiency and new product segments/geographies to drive the next leg of sustainable growth for the overall Group.
