Not to mention they already got all their capital back from the decades of dividends.
So when they sell, the entire sales proceeds is pure profit.
For many years, SingTel was at the $2.00-sumtin range.
For these uncles and aunties.... can sell at $4.50 region is macam like strke 4D lidat.
So they are not bothered by the future potential of holding or buying more.
For them who are mostly seniors, sell and use the money to go for a vacation or to buy furniture/appliances
or even to install or replace aircon is something they will happily do.
