Now that DBS has come out to clarify they have exposure to SGD 700mil worth of " loans, bonds and off balance sheet items" , does it mean UOB' s exposure is as their CEO has mentioned, manageable? How much debt, on and off balance sheet, does swiber have?
Small players going belly up while bigger players would cut cost and merge operation, very tough when oil stuck below 60 very long time. Watch out other small players might go up in smoke like swiber
is it because of Swiber issue? will it create domino effect?
result not bad right? why still price drop?
maybe issuing dividend $350

Fake rumour spreading, ignor. 3Q coming on 1st week of aug if npl spike it go south. The effect of brasil sete bankrupy showing, kc got hit halving it order book from 10b to 5b. If local banks made provision on offshore marine bad loan, prepare to see profit margin squeezed.

This is bad for bank. Especially they have previously expected rate to rise, could have taken some hedging at the wrong side, just like SIA on oil.
