Don't know how they can find out you have sold or not but I think when it comes to renewal or yearly probably they will know.

Its worth it.

Is there a minimum holding period? E.g. can one buy the shares and then immediately sell away the shares after getting the discount card?

Please remember to apply for your SOUP DISCOUNT CARD 15% if you holding at least 2000 shares.

I bought this share earlier this year, purely my family love the food so the discount card was attractive, it's a bonus that the price has more than doubled (from my cost price) on top of the bumper dividend received over the past year.
If you are a frequent diner of this chain, do consider this math -
Average spending per month $100, discount enjoyed $15 (15% discount).
Per year = $15 x 12 = $ 180 < -- this amount is like a dividend payout by itself
If you buy 10 lots at $0.25 now, your implicit yield (excluding broker comm and what the company actually pays out as dividend) is 7.2% p.a. Of course, if you dine more often/spend more, you will enjoy a higher yield.
That was my simplistic rationale behind my purchase of this share. For all the fundamental & technical analysis, it's ironic that this simplistic logic has nett me my most profitable trade so far. Good thing I bought much more than what was required for the discount card, given the minimum brokerage charges - it makes sense to buy more.
The soup is nourishing for the body while the stock (pun intended) is nourishing for my pocket. Now my only concern is that if this company is taken over or privatised, the discount scheme may cease.
If you hardly dine at this restaurant and in it as a pure speculator, I just want to caution you to be wary that this COULD be a pump and dump set up and you MIGHT be late for the dinner party. The buoyant cheering over here should be taken with a pinch of salt because when the BB has finished the soup, you could be the one left to clear the dishes for them. Always do your own due diligence for all trades.
wow... i didn't sell. :P Was holding and hoping for some company announcements or someone to leak some news. As always... buy on rumours :P Sell only when I feel profit is enough.
Public float is low hence can see there is no much sellers now. Hope the bb put some to churn it up to 30c and beyond!

Twice i bought and sold at the same price!
After it hit high of 0.25, all the support all disappeared! but closing, 1m support came out at 0.245 and closed at 0.250. Looks good!
Maybe someone desperately buy up, and pull out all the support to scare retailer like me to dump the shares to them. Just my guess!
