Can play along with "big box top " story if u wan..but never hold it..big box open does not mean more profit..to me more cost... .look at tt itself.as a retailer..high risk counter.......btw..westgate offer $20 voucher for every $200 purchase but dont really attract a lot of customers.....enjoys...

Ya,, tonite i went to westgate and Jem, got people , but mostly in place like food court and restaurant, shop mostly ghost town, in jurong East so many mall, I believe if u wan to open a shop there u better think 100 times over,
I went to westgate basemant, all selling food, vy quiet, how long can they last. 
Take a look at Courts.  Will offer a clue of what to expect?

Big box like a big department store....sell a lots of products.....but profit margin believe soso as manspower cost very high....will attract a lots of people walk walk and go home log on alibaba to shop..lol

Retailing is a tough biz nowadays. Especially when Jurong East/central is flooded with so many shopping centres (even Jcube is screaming low bplus a direct competitor IMM nearby.

lease remaining - 25 years....understand one or two lawsuits came after new equity investors took over. Nothing heard yet on tenancy occupation.At $100 mil TDC (total development charge) and expecting a return of 40% for ROE for the 4 investors.......a tough one for next 25 years????

1. is big box freehold or leased ?
2. any big anchor tenants ?
3. or just mostly TT intl own products ? if so, not really fantatsic. u need such big space for AKIRA and barang barang for what ?
even Panasonic and Samsung dont need such big space in my personal opinion

Big Box is almost ready! it is so big! good business location and much larger than the GEM:) 
Went there Saturday and saw very few workers working on the construction site. Hope is not financial problem. As announced by TTI on SGXNET: TOP of BigBox is on August 2014 and start business for Christmas 2014. but both will be delayed liao.
Don' t know why company is keeping silent for missing target......
