Bet some for fy result....

If they are able to complete the disposal of the property in Orchard, the FY report will look even better as they will be able to recognise another additional $100M. The odd part is that it' s still trading near to 52wks low, whereas their performance is much higher than last year.

Hope they will give out another div if the disposal is completed before the next report.

Announced good result. Will be giving div .... yet it is trading new 52 wks low. To me, it seems to be purposely pushed down for accumulation.

Malaysia is a better bet than batam for property developments. Due to HSR and other factors. 2 main regions : KL and Johor

China is pumping billions and billions of $ into Malaysia. Many Malaysians working in Singapore are bringing back their $ into Malaysia buying properties and other consumption. It is a big sum of $.

So the deal or agreement is off ?

Question : how can KOP come up with the JV money ?
Their current funds may not be even enough for their other project.

Another thing is : any project in Batam turns me off .
Batam is not the place to go into property development.

For weekend cheap thrills like massage , nite spots cheap thrills for retirees and for those hot blooded Singaporean men ok , but definitely not the place for properties developments.

The talk of golden triangle since 1990 until now , already 27 years. The progess ? Very slow.

In Vietnam, in just 10 years from 2003 to 2013 you see big progress.

I personally know of an indonesia investor lost big in the Batam waterfront city and resort project in 1998.

Sinarmas Land: Sinarmas Land and KOP Limited to develop Nuvasa Bay. Sinarmas Land and KOP Limited have agreed,

through their subsidiaries, to develop parts of Nuvasa Bay, a high-end integrated residential and mixed-use development in Nongsa,

Batam. In the first development phase, the 228 ha Nuvasa Bay will incur a development capital expenditure of about Rp4t (S$400m) over

the next five years. They plan to market 200 houses and 550 condominium units in the first launch, starting at the end of 2016.

Construction will begin in 1Q17. (Source: The Business Times)

Went in at 0.420. The Q2 result was good, but the price dropped instead. It has been hovering between 0.415~ 0.440 .... to me, it seems to be accumulation. They release a news lately that they will be selling properties to Hiap Hoe and will recognise 100+ Million. Yes, the price didn' t go up .....

It' s trading near 52 weeks low .... reported massive increase in revenue in their Q2 report ... will be selling properties and will soon able to recognise another 100M ....  many properties counters are all going up.
