Bought some at .935 . Very big vol. compared to the last few days below 1.5 mil. today over 7.5 mil.
Good buying movement today.

Typo.. Drawcard was suing Victory Hill for US$2.6 million as reported in October last year. Clarify --> Dont know the status now.
DBS values cityneon at 15.2x FY17 earnings. The average FY16 P/E is 17.2 times.. So forecast of EPS 2.77 x 17.2 ish about 53 cents...
forecast of EPS 6.78 for 2017 x 15.2 ish.. 122.. Gif and take.. average the two is about 87.5 cents...So anywhere below 87.5 cents is a buy? (equal upside/downside between 2016 and 2017 expectations?) provided no earnings downgrade la..
FYI -- I am not encouraging short.. just sharing findings
Just to share certain findings...
1) The Marvel Las Vegas exhibition opened during the last two or last week of June. --> earnings likely to be much stronger in 2H, 2Q likely to show better results, but still unlikely to be proportionate to analyst expectations. DBS says net profit 7.41m in 2016.
2) However... could expectations be too high? DBS estimates 500,000 visitors per year in its 29 June report.
Some comparisons..
According to nypost... the avengers exhibit in Times Square was " supposed to draw half a million visitors in its first six months, but sold only 120,686 tickets in seven months" . In fact, the 1 October 2015 article pointed out that Drawcards Exhibits is suing Victory Hill for S$2.6 million.
This gives me two red flags
1) Why nobody mentioned about this lawsuit.. What' s the outcome? And how is it being resolved? Can somebody help google/find out this?
2) New York actually attracted more visitors than las vegas in 2015. New York had 58.3 milliion visitors while Las vegas only has 42.3m in 2015. The DBS report erroneously stated 43m. If the exhibit only attracted 120k people in 7 months over May to November 2014 (summer holiday season). Then, how many can the Las Vegas exhibit attract in a year?
--> Why didnt DBS double check and simply rely on management target of 1% to 1.5% or 430k to 645k? Shouldnt they have moderated these numbers somewhat?
The upside is that Cityneon' s Victory hill most likely has improved the exhibit which should not have the same problems as those in New York. But I did notice that ticket prices were slashed by up to half or more for the exhibit in New York based on the still available online advertisements, even thought the New York exhibit is closed.
Maintain Buy and Hold Tight, all set to move up higher, patience require.
look like weak holders are flushed out today. Big smile in coming days as we may see it clearing $1 strongly.
