quite a strong earning for Q4 for the turnover of losses. imo, share price is going to up on trend with such a strong outlook for del monte. 

significant turnover for FY21
Generated a net profit of US$4.6m, reversing the loss of US$18.4m in the prior year (or a loss of US$8.8m excluding one-off expenses) 
higher profit 23%
operating profit soar 315.5%
debt reduced
4Q sales remained well above pre-Covid period 2 years ago
Considerably higher gross margin of 23.9% from 14.8% on favourable sales mix from higher sales of higher-margin retail branded products, lower trade spending and lower costs

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the DMPL Group expects to generate higher net profit in FY2022 

 

Results out. My guess on why drastic drop in share price from $0.475 to $0.380 in 4 days last week probably because some investors think net profit already peaked for quarter end 31 January 2021 at US$30.16mill. Net profit for quarter end 30 April 2021 is US$14.5mill. Dividend US$0.012 about S$0.0162. Not bad lah 3.8% based on today' s closing price $0.425.

4Q revenue and earning growth (Y-on-Y) versus that of 3Q dropped.
Q-on-Q result dropped by 50%.
In my personal view, based on result, share price had overshoot.
 

 

Result is out..Improved profit and dividend declared. Tomorrow is interesting!

Not sure if you are even aware shorted value is only $185k out of total traded value of $3.6 mil... if it takes only $185k to shake a $3.6mil, I think many people can easily manipulate hahah

while market is red, profit taking is normal. whats matter is based on the previous and growth of the company brands, the upcoming FY21 definitely optimisitic.  buy and hold for breakout.
