Clear 74 will bring it to higher... some good news coming... retailers alway in blind spot...
Whats with the sudden surge today?
I expect it to fall into the 55-60cts range.  After that it depends on how the market see this gem.  Afterall, selling away part of their business means lower earning and lesser div payout and market likes NeraTel for its generous consistent div payout.

The recovery is speedy.  The lure of the potential 15-20cts spec div is strong. I expect price to spike to 77-78cts when div declared but it might go beyond 80cts if market goes a bit crazy.
Strong recovery.... sit tight for dividend.

TOday presented a chance to collect some but would really like to collect more when price goese lower.  Looking ahead to the $71.5mil net gain and 15-20cts spec div as strong catalyst!
Dividend 1 cent so much lower than last year 2.5 cent.Net profit drop 40+% not so rosy.Tmr may go lower
Dividend declared... payment 7 Sept...
So far market support the hypothesis that price action starts when it was around 53cts.
Analysts so confidence it worth 80cts, they should get their house to buy up as much as they can.

hidden buyers
got special dividend and M& A prospect... this news from sometime back...
we also see  NeraTel  as a potential privatisation candidate. However, it is not because that their largest shareholders want to privatise them but rather due to the PE funds looking for exit given the long holding period. PGA Partners has held NeraTel for more than three years and may now look for buyer to take over this business. Rule 14 of the Singapore Take-over Code provides that a mandatory offer is triggered when an offerer acquires 30% or more of shares carrying voting rights of the target company. Hence, if PGA were to sell out their stakes, rest of the public shareholders will also benefit from a mandatory general offer.
when is the next dividend?

Frankly, selling away part of their business means lower revenue and profit leading to lower dividend payout.  So once sale done, special div announced, price spike, time to let go and wait for pice to settle down.  I am not surprise after this event, price go below 40cts until their business expands again.
