I think the lender trusts only the current manager and lends them at favorable rates. But if some other manager comes in, this lender wants his money back as he is not confident about the any new manager.

Keppel Infrastructure Trust (KIT) has entered into a $75 million loan facility, according to an Oct 29 bourse filing.

The facility contains conditions where a mandatory prepayment event may occur if the trustee-manager of KIT resigns or is removed as a manager and if the replacement manager is not appointed in accordance with the terms of the trust deed constituting MPACT.

Additionally, the conditions include the event that the replacement of the trustee-manager is not a direct or indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Capital Holdings.

Should any prepayment event occur, the aggregate level of the facility and existing outstanding borrowing of KIT that may be affected stands at approximately $1,255 million.

Units in Keppel Infrastructure Trust closed at 45 cents on Oct 29.

Israeli attack so far appears to be robust but avoiding key infrastructure: Analyst
Ali Vaez, project director for Iran for the International Crisis Group, says Israel?s attack on Iran so far appears to be in the ?mid-range? of its possibilities.

The strikes were ?considerably more robust than its response to Iran?s previous attack in April, but not going as far as targeting key infrastructure or nuclear facilities?, Vaez told Al Jazeera.

?The questions now are first, whether this is the full scope of its response, and second, whether Tehran will absorb the hit and try to draw a line under this exchange or up the ante again with a counter-response,? Vaez said, noting that Iran now has several options for its response, ?each of which has major risks?.

Iran could now launch strikes against Israel and face another, likely bigger retaliation, Vaez said, or it could attack through its proxies which have been weakened significantly in recent weeks.

Another option would be to target US interests elsewhere in the region ?but then it will be facing not just Israel, but US as well?, he said.

Since the start of the war on Gaza, the US has deployed military equipment in the region, including advanced US air defence systems and aircraft.

These movements, Vaez said, had ?two purposes: Deter the Iranians from a response, and defend Israeli from a response if that fails?.

US official says Washington is aware of strikes by its ally Israel, and says they are an ?exercise in self-defence?.

State of alert not yet raised in Israel after Iran attack launched
Mohammed Jamjoom
Mohammed Jamjoom
Reporting from Amman, Jordan

Al Jazeera is reporting from outside Israel because it has been banned by the Israeli government.

We are expecting to hear more from Israel?s military in the hours to come, when it comes to the specifics about what type of hardware was used in this attack. If this is just one phase in the attack? If there are going to be more attacks? If this is ongoing?

The clarity about that is what we need to hear from the Israeli army going forward.

As we understand it right now, Israel has not raised the state of alert when it comes to their Home Front Command, as far as directions to citizens.

But, that could all change as well in the hours to come.

Iranian capital ?functioning as normal?, says professor
Foad Izadi, an associate professor of world studies at Tehran University, has spoken to Al Jazeera from the Iranian capital.

He said the city is ?very quiet now?.

?It?s about four in the morning in Tehran, and we we don?t see any anything happening outside, or any activities or movements,? he said.

?So the city is functioning as normal, and if we had any attacks, I think they weren?t that big.?

Israel-Iran relations since October 7
October 10 ? Iran?s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says Tehran not involved in the October 7 attack but hails what he called Israel?s ?irreparable? military and intelligence defeat.

December 2 ? Two IRGC members, who served as military advisers in Syria, killed in an Israeli attack, in the first reported Iranian casualties during the war on Gaza.

April 1 ? Iran?s consulate in Damascus flattened. Iran and Syria blamed Israel for the attack, which killed two of its generals and five military advisers at its embassy compound in the Syrian capital.

April 13 ? Iran launched a volley of explosive drones and fired missiles at Israel. It was Iran?s first direct attack on Israeli territory, risking a major escalation as the US pledged ?ironclad? support for Israel.

July 30 ? Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh meets Khamenei in Tehran and attends the inauguration ceremony for Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

July 31 ? Haniyeh is assassinated. Hamas and Iran blamed Israel with Khamanei saying Israel had provided the grounds for ?harsh punishment?.

October 1 ? Iran fires nearly 200 missiles at Israel in response to deadly Israeli attacks against people in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the assassinations of top IRGC, Hamas and Hezbollah leaders.

Energy prices are set to go up. Get a good long term plan to lock in energy prices before they shoot through the roof. Inflation is back. Take measures to reign in inflation. I believe inflation is here to stay for awhile. As long as geopolitical risks persist.

Thank you for your inputs, Bear,... we' ll observe the 4QFY24 reporting then,... and see the dpu payout. There is a lower number of assets after this to generate rental income,... but of course, there is more money now that can be used to payout dividends after the disposal of the 50% stake in Philippine Coastal.

I see timing differences as a Systematic error that occurs in this company's reporting which will be rectified in the next reporting period. So don't take in too much from a quarterly business update because there are timing errors that can only be rectified when the reporting is taken over a longer time frame.

I don't see timing differences causing the company not to pay its obligations on time
