I think there is some private placement thru it' s subsidiary companies. Anyway, FWD will list soon and then we can see more clearly.
Hmm, if PCRD did have pte placement of FWD shares, then this is a valid reason for price increase. Did not see any announcement on that. Will see in the coming AR, if any. (Remembered there was purchase of bonds of PCPD or FWD when it was heavily discounted a couple of years back)

On the surface, there is no direct relation between PCRD and FWD Group. It is only a common shareholder.
Actually I buy this for the potential of the dividends. If there is a privatisation, I will be more than happy too. Since Richard hold more than 89.x%(declared). So any time will be taken private.

Other than Richard Li being the big boss of both FWD and PCRD, is there any cross-investment link between the two companies? Share price of PCRD has gradually increased in the recent mths from mid-30s in July/Aug 21 to 42. FWD IPO is an often quoted reason. Is there a genuine close association?
