I thought the same too. But the reality does not match the hype. The government should really reconsider - it' s the country' s money after all.

I thought it's supposed to go to small and mid cap, those good company but neglected and low volume, to unlock value in sgx market. There is no point investing in those hot blue chip at all.

The EQDP is really a missed opportunity by Singapore if you look at the detail. Too much of the money is wasted in investing in places it should not go.

If you look at the Fullerton fund that received EQDP funds, its biggest positions are DBS, OCBC, Singtel, UOB and Jardine. Alamak, everyone has heard of these companies before, and do not need to pay a 5% upfront fee and 1.5% management fee a year to invest in these companies. Nor do these companies need more taxpayer money.

Meanwhile, half the EQDP money going to JP Morgan is not going to be invested in Singapore stocks at all. Unbelievable.

Title: CSE Global (544) Breaking Out - And the Fundamentals Are Improving

Just want to flag CSE Global for those looking at under-the-radar recovery plays. The stock has been consolidating between 70-95 cents for most of 2024-2025, and it' s now  breaking above 1.05-1.07 with improving momentum indicators.

Why this caught my attention:

  1. Earnings Growth:  +26.6% forecast annual growth, with Q3 2025 revenue up 20.5% YoY. This is actual business momentum, not just chart-based enthusiasm.

  2. Dividend Cushion:  Yielding 2.1-3.56%, so while we wait for capital appreciation, we' re collecting real income. Every 3-6 months, that dividend payout compounds the position.

  3. Technical Setup:  Unlike some extended stocks, CSE Global is in  early-stage recovery mode. The Aroon indicator shows a freshly confirmed uptrend, RSI is mid-range (room to run), and MACD is just flipping positive. This is the setup we want.

  4. Analyst Target:  $1.175 consensus, which is only ~10% upside from current 1.07 level. Not a moonshot, but a rational, achievable near-term target backed by fundamentals.

The Real Test:  If the stock can hold above 1.05 as support and close above 1.10 on solid volume, the next leg to 1.15-1.20 becomes high-probability. I' m treating any dip toward 1.00-1.03 as a buying opportunity, not a sell signal.

Bottom Line:  This feels like the type of stock that quietly compounds over 6-12 months while most investors chase more glamorous names. The dividend is icing on the cake. DYODD
