yes its not apple to apple but certainly it will be bad. Dotard  is and will be a disaster for USA.
The Ag industry has collapsed. Lost whole CN market and they are not going to pick up any time soon. Consumers, manufacturers and farmers are all clobbered by Dotard' s tariffs. How is that winning? Jobs are not coming back. Most companies will stay on in Asia or still in China where the biggest market on earth is.
Time is ticking for him  and there is no turning back. Sentiments are worsening.. Sayonara la.. when the shit hits the fan, US will experience downturn fast. He keeps blaming others but not himself..lol. How can great American companies be weak compared to his companies that went bankrupt?

You didnt' t read the entire article right ?

You are right that there isn' t any other reason to cause US to go into recession.
Since the comparison is flawed, US WILL NOT GO INTO RECESSION! loh

Just can't think of any other reason besides this which might cause the next recession.

Click the link and look at that piece of IOU before sprouting nonsense that it's the equivalent of sgp factoring 😂

This is called factoring. Common even in Singapore and Japan. Do your research first.

"A growing number of companies are issuing IOUs to their suppliers. Some suppliers turn around and use the notes to pay another supplier. And then ? in a sign of how desperate some Chinese companies have become for money ? they sell the notes for less cash than they are worth,? the Times reports.
And alarmingly, ?recent Chinese history suggests these financial dealings could end badly?. |

China IOU = Sgp factoring ? 😂
"Whether an SME qualifies for the services of a factor depends on the creditworthiness of its customers and its spread of debtors. Factoring companies prefer SMEs to have a group of diverse customers (debtors) due to the greater spread of risk. Factoring companies conduct detailed due diligence of the customers of the SME depending on whether there is only one customer or a group of customers who have not paid up their invoices in full. The due diligence procedures and credit evaluation of individual customerss is less extensive in the case of a group of diverse buyers because of the spread"

"Given the challenging macro ahead, we ran a stress test on Chinese banks which represented 76% of total assets in China,? DBS stated in a June study."
?Under the bear-case scenario assuming GDP [gross domestic product] slowdown, benchmark rate cut, ongoing trade disputes, retail loan credit bubble, and increasing POE [privately-owned enterprise] risks, China banks? capital shortage would be 2 trillion yuan.?
