For me, my money in the pocket safer.
I noticed in the past, Melvyn Ang from MM2 frequently sell his personal shares. So his stake kept reducing.
Then came UnUsUal. Before listing, the founders of UnUsUal sold 50% shares to MM2. Took some cash home. But valuation of UnUsUal only $50 million. Later UnUsUal supported MM2 and bought MM2 shares at 49 cents. Each of Ong brothers came up with $5 million to support MM2.
Now valuation of UnUsUal above $500 million (in approx 2 years). Founders of UnUsUal sold another 5% shares. Not bad.
Conclusion: Founders of MM2 and UnUsUal have been reducing their respective stakes in the company at these billion dollars valuation. Would I be a BUYER or SELLER at this price? Easy to guess the answer.
