If I read correctly, left one more regulatory approval ( last time was two). It is still a good deal, though much delayed, should have some positive outcome when done....dyodd.

They are liquidating this company.

In that context, given Olam Agri is already being sold for an agreed price the most important questions are 1) what is OFI worth, and 2) what is the value of the remaining Olam assets. It seems to me the results gave positive answers to both - for 1) the decline in OFI invested capital due to the decline in cocoa prices, for 2) the strong operating results.

The share price market reaction so far today reflects the lack of a ordinary dividend. I can understand why, and the reason management just gave on the webcast is in my view a poor one (as is their attempt to imply it should not have been a surprise given their previous comments). I look forward to the day when I no longer have to listen to this management present.

That said, due to 1) and 2) above my estimate for how much a liquidation will realise is actually higher following these results. So I' m happy to get another chance to buy more at a cheaper price today.

The biggest issue w Olam is their debt .....really not sure what it is now ( plus all the outsstanding notes they have issued )
Whatever this sale has to at least partially pay back these loans .....plus need for working cap .
Then w this sale of agri ....what is really left to make $$ ( like killing a cow and remaining one goat only )
Best is to liquidate this company totally and return funds to shareholders. ( which is tough)
DYODD and good luck

Yes, irrespectve of what they say I think that is the real answer. We are in the endgame, and they no longer care about the share price any more nor the ordinary dividend. What matters is the return of capital.

Still, not caring does not mean they can' t throw us something in the meantime so no one complains.

ROG businesses - monetize & special dividends.

Kikikiki      ( Date: 27-Feb-2026 10:13) Posted:

Yup. Anyway if there' s special dividend, it wont be that huge too as the Board already mention they going use the sales of OA to capitalise the Remaing asset & then sell them. Likely dividend will be Arise sales, and the daily interest gained from SALIC. Every $100m usd sales, is $0.035 dividend as mentioned by Mr. Sunny. The real needle moving one will be news of OFI. Until that happens, traders will continue to manipulate the prices to gain spread. Long term investors, with Temasek,   just be patient, rainbow soon at the end of the tunnel.

Same as Genting Singapore, so many " cheer leaders" appear and spread  speculation  of special dividends and then everyone FOMO
and then crashed.

the dividend IS coming from ARISE P& L 175m USD disposal!

and $2b USD is coming from SALIC Tranche 1 + daily ticking fees + 6% IRR.

And later, SALIC Tranche 2 is coming in.

2026 should be awesome!

It will be interesting to hear how management respond to the questions about why no dividend in the webcast.

Just some market traders sell to create fear and shake out weak hands before they buy again. Just ignore and stay on course. Buy dip if you have appetite

Should be the no dividend that cause the crash.

Strong turnaround share price still crashes.. why?

alexvar      ( Date: 27-Feb-2026 08:47) Posted:

A strong turnaround in 2025.

ARISE P& L dividends are coming.

Profit/(Loss) from Continuing Operations swung to a $170m profit in 2025, from a $222m loss in 2024.

Free Cash Flow to Equity rebounded to +S$359.6m, compared to -S$5.9bn last year.

Net gearing improved significantly from 2.79x to 1.87x, with adjusted net gearing down to 0.55x &mdash reflecting a much stronger balance sheet. 2026 will be bright!
