Near EGM sept 12 will move again

Just received prospectus, EGM 12 Sept-Hotel Grand Chancellor Pte Ltd was tendered for $48.89mil in 2007 and 328 room was constructed at a cost 459.23mil and hotel was opened in 2010..valued at $201mil on Sept 2012.Hotel Grand expected profit of $67.02mil after paying off $54mil in outstanding bank loans and the net proceeds of 4192mil will be placed in interest bearing bank' s term deposits to pursue groth opportunities and fund the co' s future business plan.NTA expected to increase from $1.43 to $1.55 and sale expected to complete by 15 Jan 2015 

Coupled with the 600 rooms of 2 brand new hotels in front of Istana,hope one day maybe the closely knit family may sell off at a higher valuation.Ever hit a high of $2 plus slightly

Despite the cessation of the hotel operations at Orchard,company' s 1 H 2014 still increases

Counter like this, where public hold a small part will rarely soar, unless it announce privatisation. Do you think the main share holder want to push up the counter? It is in his interest that they reamin cheap, so hew can takeover for less.

Thinly traded becoz no scrips all held by directors and families in nominees account..manage to catch some at $1.335 the recent lows..see Hotel Goodwood Park it was $30 and during 1987 share plunge those who shorted died becoz no one lend out the scrips and the price headed even higher..have to beg the late khoo Teck Puat to lend the share?

But the vol is very low, I have a bad experience with low volume counter, When come to sell, I got to sell many days, just for some 50 lots , very frustrating. JMO.

You will end up with odd lots. But when lucky enough, maybe can slowly become one full lot. STill, there will be residual lot due to scipt dividend price.

I would love to try staying in the new hotels coming up at the end of Orchard Road. That is after I got the dividends for few years. But steady la, my hunch is that this will be a quite performer in time to come.
