Div stock like this one will hold out better than the rest these two weeks.
close neratel, seems like strenght weaken, cash use for other telcos.
Someone purposely depress Neratel share price to 0.69??

Seems llike NT got a good deal out of Ingenico. From the news release, its payment solution:
Revenue = 26% of $181.5mil = $47.2mil
Earning = 21% of $13.4mil = $2.8mil
Ingenico offer $88mil. But after some adjustment, the expected net proceed is $71.5mil which is at 26 times the payment solution' s earning! Ingenico must have got some explosive plan for this unit!
But $71.5 mil is about 20cts per share cold hard cash!!!!!!!!
However, if I were to use FY15 figures, based on the remainng revenue and earning, with PE of 14.6, I only get 65cts. KH must have assumed some pretty aggressive growth for NT' s remaining business.
Anyway, price action wise, on 7 Apr, NT trade at low of 54cts before rising to 61cts before company let known the possible acquisition. Assuming the rise from 54cts to 61cts has nothing to do with the acquisition, going to 80cts is entirely possible once the deal is confirmed and spec div declared but it will be sometime from now. We are probably looking at earlier next year for it. Maybe NT surprise us with a big Xmas CNY present. Who knows!
I must give credit to NT for being very down to earth and just focus on doing their business well and North Star as good PE for seeking out such good deal for NT' s shareholders. Anyway, it is good to sell this unit given that they have to compete with Apple Pay, Alipay, YouPay, IPay, EverybodyPay, blah blah blah.

Nera Tel has proposed to sell its entire payment solutions business (across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam).to Ingenico Group S.A. for S$88m. Based on the book value of $16.5m, the disposal gain is estimated to be about $71.5m (or 19.75 cents per share). And based on the net profit of $3.5m, the exit PE is about 25x and price to sales is 1.9x. There is a potential special payout after the sale. After the proposed sale of the payment solution business, Nera Tel will focus on its core network solutions business.
Hefty Dividend From Potential Divestment
NeraTel, a network system integrator with its proprietary brand of products, is
expected to sell their red-hot POS payment business which we value the EV at 11.3x
EBITDA (20% discount to peer average) or S$78.8m. We estimate gains could go up
to S$49.2m with 2016 dividends possibly hitting a hefty S$0.16/share. Its remaining
businesses look solid with record-high orders and exciting growth prospects.
Initiate BUY with S$0.835 TP based on SOTP, valuing remaining businesses at
historical PE of 14.6x.

This one is a dividend play counter. Revenue has not been growing for thepast 5 years. Earning has been dropping. Starting to give less dividend now. I think these house always chu pattern one. Paint a nice picture when things are going south and when results proved it they 180 degree turn and normally within a year the price will drop badly.
