Noble Group' s problems did not happen overnight. For years Iceberg Research had been accusing Noble Group of taking liberties with their accounting in particular their revenue recognition methods. The bottom line is that investors need to do their own due diligence.

UnUsUal has 2 sets of accounts which are published for shareholders.
For Financial Year 2017 (15 months from Jan 2016 to Mar 2017):
Total Assets $23.3m
Total Liabilities $11.2m
Cash from ops $9.3m
Retained earnings $8.6m
NP After Tax $7.3m (2016: $4.1m)
Note: Why 15 months? Ans: to align with their parent mm2 Asia.

For Financial Year 2018 (9 months from Apr 2017 to Dec 2017):
Revenue $30.1m
NPAT      $6.536m
TA            $42.7m
TL            $6.5m
RE          $15.1m

While we await results for the final quarter (Jan to Mar 2018) for FY 2018, a comparison of results for the past 2 periods show the following:
TA exceeds TL significantly. That is UUU owns more than it owes.
RE (Undistributed Net Profit accumulated over the years) keeps increasing.
Net Profit AT is increasing quarter to quarter.   

Overall this looks like a healthy set of accounts for an uncomplicated business - concert management.
 

 

How about that middle east fund who invested in noble and then later sued noble ? They invested more than $25.8 mil.

MM2 and UnUsUal have roughly the same number of total shares outstanding, and share price also very close. So easier for chng kay to move from supporting one to the other seemlessly. This should make rollover easier also.
