The existing major shareholders need to see the offer-on-the-table is too good to refuse for the (other big/small) minority shareholders so as to ensure a successful exercise ....... as some are well-and-good from this .... and some smelling-the-roses in different capacity

you may consider sell at open market after the GO price out, usually nearer to the GO price take in account for conditional terms if any, or you wait for all the legal documents out they will send to you and you sign and mail back, alternatively i think broker will act for you behalf if your shares is in nomineed account instead of CDP.

Got it. Ya makes sense.. I went thru semb marine once... more like demerger.. so once the news set in, the price rocket fell down.. no need wait for the date alr sold liao. hahaha..

If there's any take over offer, normally price will jump to near the offer price. For those with no patience to wait will sell then becos nornally whole process will take months.....if wanna take the full profit just wait till process end. Everything will be auto.
I went thru twice takeover offer.

If there's any take over offer, normally price will jump to near the offer price. For those with no patience to wait will sell then becos nornally whole process will take months.....if wanna take the full profit just wait till process end. Everything will be auto.

Sgx$should send you a letter, you just got to accept the offer. I am not sure if there is a need to EGM

Now is a matter of price, got deal on. My gut tells me above $2 to $2.5...........
partly ba but i also cannot buy back, later buy too close they say insider haha. I wanted to buy back this afternoon. I cleared then set to reminder to buy this afternoon :( who knows mid-day halt. Sigh. I think takeover may be over above 2 lor sigh
