Foreland has finally appointed an Independent Reviewer for the decisions management had taken in early 2014. Looks like SGX has been able to make Mr. Tsoi see some reason.

We were pressing for one of the Big Four firms to do the review. Guess we will have to make do with No. 5.

This will take up to a year, then there are further another 3 yrs of curing period. I dont knw what is curing period, But it is total 4 yrs from now before they are condemn to delisting. 

 

So got another 4 yrs to play, hopefully another penny rally will come.LOL

Just wondering how this stock can maintain listed in Mainboard with Sgx new rules.

Min market cap and min sharw price.

 

Status Update:

We had 6 signatures on the petition we had submitted to the SGX on the 19th Feb. The number of people who have pledged their support to this cause has gone up to 14 as on date

This is really encouraging. What is most encouraging is the fact that I had one investor who does not own any shares in Foreland but had been badly burnt by a similar fiasco at another S-Chip who wanted justice done for all of us. I have requested him to become a shareholder and officially support our cause. Even if you own 1 lot shares your rights are the same as that of the CEO.

Friends, so many of us have had these horrible experiences with S-Chips listed on the SGX but the sad fact is that till date I have not seen any of the perpetrators of these crimes brought to justice in Singapore.

My question to the SGX is simple: If we are unable to protect any of our investors from these unregulated elements why do we allow such companies to come and list their shares in Singapore.

IS IT NOT THE SGX' s DUTY TO ENSURE THAT ONLY GENUINE COMPANIES ARE ALLOWED TO LIST IN SINGAPORE. WHY DO WE ALLOW SUCH UNREGULATED FLY-BY-NIGHT OPERATORS TO LIST IN SINGAPORE WITH SUCH APPARENT EASE AND THEN FLY AWAY WITH OUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITHOUT THE EXCHANGE BEING ABLE TO TAKE ANY ACTION AGAINST THEM?

My sympathy to all who are cheated here. This is worse than day-light robbery.

This is clearly a " major transaction" exceeding 20% threshold that require shareholders' approval at EGM. Either there is a loophole in SGX rulebook or these Chinamen openly ignored SGP law.

SGX should clarify this publicly. Mainstream papers have also been mum.

IDs should explain why they failed to freeze the bank acc before this payout, since they hv prior knowledge of this claim. By resigning is not enough. After the bank acc is emptied, it is like crying over spilled milk now.

Alternatively, the bank acc could be fake all the past yrs and this claim is a sham to cover their loot.

AGM held at Centennial Tower, Level 21, Banyan Room, 3 Temasek Avenue, Singapore 039190 on Friday, 29 August 2014 at 9.00am.

If free must attend as I think the shareholders will have   a lot of questions to ask the board. If you look at the company' s recent announcement at the sgx website (company disclosure). eg cessation of independent director. The independent director just   appointed as chairman audit committe on 31 May 2013. Why   resign this year?

There was also a filing at sgx website on 7 Aug 2014 on the financial related annoucement ::discrepancies between unaudited and audited accounts.

I believe last rd syndicate got stuck here, they will be back to push and dump to retailer.  U post here is useless, where are play retailer will gather, If u really want u can write to SGX, but i do not think they can solve this also. Just make hay while the sun shine, What value? so long got money to make. Just observe stop strictly will do,  dont be stupid, watch this counter for big money.
