The key point I believe was that Chip Eng Seng Group was taken private. But this round only Chip Eng Seng Construction will be injected into OKH
Not sure if this is correct though.
$ is not an issue here as Mr Gordon Tang is powerful enough to launch a GO for Suntec REIT.
That is the reason why shares issuance are involved here because it would beef up his holdings in OKH to above 50% with a waiver for GO.

The fact that the issue price of OKH is set at $0.052 for the acquisition showed his confidence in OKH. Most would have set at rock bottom price to benefit themselves |
