Pribonic said he stood by his reports as documents noting the state(condition) of the Queen Mary as a whole.
I question how you can go through $23 million and get virtually nothing done, Pribonic said, and there  &rsquo s no problem with that.
As for where the ship goes from here, Pribonic said it  &rsquo s unclear, because his understanding is that Urban Commons simply doesn &rsquo t have the money to keep up with the necessary work.
Keisler acknowledged funding is an issue, but he said the operator is working cooperatively with the city to come up with solutions.

The trust said Urban Commons has worked alongside the city for the past three years and has taken initiatives to address and clarify concerns outlined in the city&rsquo s letter. The trust noted that Urban Commons has invested $23 million into the Queen Mary and has completed &ldquo major life safety and structural projects, including the repair of the Fire and Life Safety System ship-wide, replacement of expansion joints, and additional major structural repairs and renovations.&rdquo

If I might adopt a bit of a contrarian perspective - it is actually not a bad thing for this Quen Mary issue to now blow up, and force Urban Commons to come out to share its plans.  This will remove one of the biggest uncertainties surrounding Eagle, which was always the Elephant in the room called Queen Mary.  A total write-off and walk-away may not be a bad thing.  Then Eagle can focus on its 5 Star marque hotels going forward.

Sinking share prices raise more concerns about Queen Mary operations trading suspended on Singapore exchange

As part of the ship  &rsquo s lease agreement, the city issued $23 million in bonds to fix some of the most critical repairs listed in a 2015 marine survey.  Urban Commons is on the hook to fund the remaining repairs. The marine survey projected costs of up to $289 million for urgent repairs over the next several years, a figure Urban Commons disputes.
But many of the initial repairs went significantly over budget   and the $23 million was spent before other critical projects could be addressed SO GOOD TO SPEND IPO MONEY ?

If the city council has come out in support of Urban, then how can it issue a letter of demand in the same breath????????

Hence, there should be a sell down this morning due to the he say-she say factor, loically, for those who want to unload and de-risk. But, it likely may not be a free fall to say 50 cents.

The reply is basically a ?hear say?.
The only fact is the city has issued letter of demand.
